Selene walked over to the fallen books and placed them neatly back where they fell from, she looked at shadow and said "You like books i see, a lot of rare volumes you have here" She looked at him and said "Although i doubt you have the now exiled and Rare commentaries do you?"

He looked at the pile of books. Most of them that were on the desk were for work. He had no time to read something he actually likes. Shadow looked at Selene. "You mean the Commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes?" He walked to the desk and looked for something. "I actually have all of them. They're... around here somewhere..."

"You do? strange, you are lucky then, most were destroyed, but i have kept mine. you should look after them" She walked over to his bookshelves and had a look at the titles, she said "Do you have The Wild Elves?"

"I really don't remember." He went to the other table and poured some blood in the wine glasses. He offered one to Selene. Before he had a chance to take a sip from the glass, someone gently knocked on the door. Shadow opened them. A wood elf, same one that was in the tavern with him stood there. "I'm sorry for bothering you, dear Listener but we received another one." She gave a letter to him and left.

Selene was about to take a sip when she heard the wood elf her eyes widened and she said "Listener? i... i only thought you were the leader of this sanctuary, not the ear of the night mother! Bloody amazing" She said smiling at him, she then noticed the note and said "What does it say?"

Shadow smiled and looked at Selene. "Why, thank you my dear. And yes... I'm the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood." He opened the letter and read it. "This is yet another fake dead drop. We are still using them because my Silencer is rarely here. This time though, unlike the Listener before me, I pay attention to the contracts. Especially dead drops."

"Indeed, after what happened with Mathieu Bellamont, you will have to be careful"

"You know about that?" When Selene mentioned that name, Shadow frowned and clenched his fists. Everything that happened with Bellamont, happened when Shadow joined the dark brotherhood, here in Cyrodiil. How he hated that name. Because of his fault, Lucien Lachance, his good friend and mentor died. The vampire was positive that if Lucien would still be alive he'd be a Listener and not Shadow.

Dirmire thought of a couple for drink but decided to visit shadow and repay his debt fo saving his life. He teleported behind Shadow and said "Hello" He looked around the room at all the dusty books.

"Indeed i know, such an awful event, Bellamont deserved whatever fate befell him, but Poor Lucien, he was a good friend for the time i knew him.But i shall not talk of this anymore. Anything i can do to help the brotherhood? or you?" She said smiling

Shadow smiled and gently touched Selene's cheek. "No. There's nothing that I couldn't handle myself." He then suddenly heard someone saying 'hello' behind him. He quickly spun around only to see the necromancer. "Hello." He mimicked the necromancer. "Hello? What are you even doing here? That's it! I'm putting an enchantment on this whole place."

OOC: The hello part wasn't meant as an insult or anything. I just remembered it from one episode of Supernatural.

Watch first seven seconds of the clip. :D
