"One second." Edward would still be filled with rage so he would not feel a massive amount of pain, he would have then pointed towards Aardorn, cupped his hands and charged. Once charged he would let it go as a beam, this would pass through Aardorn and he would be sent through the statue behind him, this would hit before he could retaliate.
