aoxer
I'm tired of my barbarian nord running around in elven or glass armor. What I really want to do is go back to how he looked when he was level 10 or so and rocking the fur or scale armor (which to me, are the most appropriate armors for the setting). The only thing stopping me are the helmets, which looks like he placed either a hand towel or a lumpy bowl on his head, respectively. Unfortunately, to get my light armor matching set bonus, I need to wear them. How difficult would it be to swap the fur helmet model or the scale armor helmet with the Whiterun guard helmet? Or just to make them invisible? I'd be more than happy to do this myself if someone can point me to a tutorial explaining how to swap models. Thank you in advance! Arkune
http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/467216-armor-mesh-filenames/ I just did it myself with Dragon Scale and Thieves Armor. 1. Install FOMM and leave it alone.2. Open Steam > Steamapps > common > Skyrim > Data > Skyrim - Meshes.bas Now you can inspect and extract meshes via FOMM. 4. Pick the Armors you want to replace and extract them to a new folder.5. Recreate file structure of armor which is to be replaced5. Rename required files of the armor you want to the armor you want to replace6. Create new zip7. Install via Nexus Mod Manager8. Enjoy or Bugfix
