TSRDSam Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 So I just got an entirely new computer that I built myself. I installed Skyrim, installed some mods and got to playing. It wouldn't run on my last computer because it apparently just wasn't good enough, but now that I've got this new one, I thought everything would be okay. Randomly, either upon loading the game or after playing for around 15-20 minutes, my game will either CTD with no error or just stop responding. It's not a hardware issue because this computer is brand new and very powerful and has no reason for this to be happening. I'll attach my load order here. LOOT says there's no issue. I'm using Mod Organizer and I set my left panel to best match the right side panel. I crash when doing most things in the game and I'm getting angry. Can somebody please, for the love of God, help me? I'm getting tired of this.

Darkstyler35 Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 <It's not a hardware issue because this computer is brand new and very powerful> What are your specs exactly ? Are you using win10 ?Here is a list of things you may try if not already been done : random CTD are difficult to catch as they can't be reproduced at will. /// Useful informations : Reddit resources guides, ENB, SKSE, etc....Dangerous mods list.CTDs troubleshooting page on Reddit very usefull informations concerning CTDs, must read...Verify gamecacheSTEP troubleshooting page./// Load order / mods conflicts : this one is the most importantUse L.O.O.T once and click on the "sort plugins buttons".Create a wryebash patch including leveled lists.Create a merged patch with Tesedit excluding leveled lists/// Settings / memory :Have you installed the skse patch ? >> memory blocks log.Backup your ini files and delete the files. Skyrim.ini / SkyrimCustom.ini / SkyrimPrefs.ini found in C:\Users\Utilisateur\Documents\My Games\Skyrim then use your vanilla launcher to autodetect and use best settings for your computer./// Save game :Don't uninstall mods at mid-game, there are no clean save in Skyrim but using save script cleaner can help removing orphan scripts./// Meshes healer :Read here, this is potentially a cause of CTD that you can resolve by following the mod procedure on this page.
TSRDSam Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 Do you have skse.ini and using ENB?Yes, and I'm using Skyrim Enhanced Shader, let me edit in the skse.ini in the main post here, hold on. Let me know of what you think I should do when you can, I need to head to bed. Hopefully we can continue later in the day.
Marinho88 Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Sure thing. Just PM me when you wake up, I think I'll be around. :D

ironbender800 Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Use Modwatch to post your mod list or use spoiler tags. And just simply type out your system specs. Nobody wants to download random files to help you. Having a strong computer doesnt mean you can just slap a ton of mods together and the game is going to work. You need to follow intelligent modding practices. Ever since i started following STEP guidelines my game rarely crashes. I get excellent stutter free performance. And it looks great. Follow STEP or some of the other good guides out there.
