knightofheaven
So i got to the point that the jarl tells me that i can be thane in falkreath if i help at least 3 of the townsfolk. I got 2/3 townsfolk helped, did the quest for lod, wich lead me to the Daedric quest of Vile, and also rescue a hunter named valdr i think near some cave, quest given by the inkeeper in falkreath. The matter is, there is only two other quest givers that i know of, Runil the priest of arkay, you can get a a journal for him, and also you can deliver some ashes from an Elf cutting wood out side the Inn, to Runil as well. Other quest giver is the Farmer , if you pick up some vegetables you can sell it to him, just like any other farm trought Skyrim. Now My beef and the funny part its this, Both the farmer and Runil got killed in several Dragon atacks always when i was arriving at the city or leaving. Meaning i think im stucked, becouse there isnt any ppl i can help, anymore. Just funny, i tried the wood mill but the guy there doesnt like strangers, and you cant sell firewood to him. The dam Dragons prevent me from becoming thane of falkreath by killing those people, my anger against dragons is now imense. :P But if anyone knows a work arround this i will be must obliged. Vagrant0
Try talking to the older jarl. He has a few quests related to supposed imperial spies in the town. If all else fails, check each of the houses.
WarKirby3333
in all cases like this, doing work/bounties for the jarl or their steward seems to count, as well as actually helping citizens. also, you can ask for work at just about any tavern and it spits out a little quest for you. knightofheaven
yeah i know guys but i have done all that besides you only get the help 3 people quest after you done all the work that the jarl gives you bounties included. I did the quest in the tavern to help valdr the hunter missing, but that didnt help either. Also i try to make the hircine quest, that is given to you in falkreath jail, but it didnt help. I think it has to be those minor quests, for helping the townsfolk. Like cuting woodfire, harvesting vegetables, making erands etc. But all those townsfolk are death. currently there is no one that gives you any quest of this type in Falkreath. That i know off. i try to find Danhgeir ( i think its his name) but he doesnt show up, not even in his house during day or night ( i think i already doen teh imperial spy quest), the elf that is supose to be cuting wood in front of the Inn is missing as well. If anyone knows other way of ddoing this, will have my thanks. Edited November 20, 2011 by knightofheaven

Haven't personally tried it myself as I've been too busy cave spelunking for the Falmer after the monsters killed poor Lydia. but It was on the wiki and the guys over there are usually pretty puritanical when it comes to false information, so it's worth a shot. Paying a beggar worked for me in Solitude when I was aiming to become Thane.
knightofheaven
yes i know but there is no beggars in falkreath its more like a vilage then a city. anyway i resolve the problem, by using the code to Ressurect the dead NPCs The jarl only gives you a sword, so it isnt much of a reward since there isnt a house there to buy. anyway thanks for your replys  Edited November 22, 2011 by knightofheaven
WorldShaperDragon
Also, if you have useless non-weapon loot (armor works well) that is hardly worth selling, drop it on the ground in front of some townsfolk. One of them might ask to keep the items you just dropped; saying yes counts. Don't drop weapons unless you want to get scolded by pesky guards (as weapons can sometimes spawn a fight) Found that out when some jerk in a bar decided to pick a fight (Armed conflict, not a brawl) with me and was discovered to be deathly allergic to daedric maces in the face (as most mortals tend to be). Looted the armor, thinking I could sell it, but discovered it was too heavy to carry, so I just tossed it on the ground, and someone came up to me and asked if he could keep it for himself. After saying sure, I was notified that I had helped another citizen of that hold in the 'become thane' quest. From what I can tell, the beggars also count (once-each of course), but I had already given them a coin each long before taking up the 'become thane' quest. [edit] - well, looks like the post came a few minutes too late to help you XD - well, I suppose it will help someone else then Edited November 22, 2011 by Wolf of the azar

WorldShaperDragon
Just use armor or potions or books or stuff that isn't a weapon XD I have yet to get scolded by a guard for those.
