More damaging traps, make them near deadly rather than a minor nuisanc

I understand that modern games don't want to punish players too hard, but it really kills the atmosphere.

I'd like it much more to have my character die in a trap, instead of being able to walk right through it.

best way would be to have a mod that makes the triggers invisible and have a sneak perk that highlights their area when close by with an aura. Then increase damage from traps and you've got deadly sneaky traps.

Well, there's already a Sneak perk which will make you not trigger pressure plates, and the regular player should definitely be able to avoid them just by looking towards the ground.

 

+1 to this thread as well, traps are currently a nuisance, nothing more. (Except those dwarven spinning traps, those can actually kill me in one hit, partially thanks to physics)
