ShadowDestroyerOfTime Posted July 18, 2016 Share Posted July 18, 2016 (edited) I had the idea to make this mod (would have been the first mod I would release as well), but nothing is working right on my computer, so hopefully someone else will take it up.What is below is what I was going to make. If someone wants to pick this up then they can edit it however they want. When traveling in the Soul Cairn you can find an alter with a dead body and a journal.The journal is about the man's past and what he was doing there.The main points in the journal I had thought of:1) The man and his best friend were kidnapped by a group of bandits. He tried to save his friend with, using his mediocre knowledge of necromancy to defeat the bandits.2) He was about to die when Molag Bal made a deal to increase his necromatic power in exchange for A) His soul when he died. B) For him to send souls to Coldharbor.3) He finds out that his friend actually sold him out and was part of the bandit group. He then makes his friend his first sacrifice to Molag Bal.4) He continued to do the will of Molag Bal but would have nightmares of what was happening to those he sent to Coldharbor. Knowing this was his fate he grew scared of death.5) He tried to study the art of Lichdom in order to escape death, but realized he was not skilled enough. He didn't want to risk vampirism as vampires came from Molag Bal.6) He decided to try and become an unbound ghost and found a way he might accomplish this in the Soul Cairn. This gives some details about how to do this.7) He was afraid that the Ideal Masters would not let him go when he turned into a ghost in the Soul Cairn, but figured that if he swore his loyalty to them that he would be able to go. You will be able to find all the ingredients needed for the ritual in the Soul Cairn. You need an enchanting skill of 75 and need to use one of three different focuses (this determines which type of ghost you become). When you attempt the ritual the Ideal Masters will say that your soul seems to unique to just let go. You will then become a little weaker and have to face a Keeper. When he is defeated the Ideal Master will talk to you again, you will become weaker and face another Keeper. This happens one more time before you finally become a ghost and go back to your normal strength. You then have to face a Reaper before the Ideal Master accepts your loyalty.. As a ghost you have the ghost look (Red, Green, or Blue), disease immunity, poison immunity, and a permanent muffle, you also gain certain buffs depending on which focus you used (vengeful spirit=red=combat increase, ???=green=stealth increase, ???=blue=magic increase)You also have different powers.Invisibility, Fear, and maybe some others (probably based on which type of ghost you are).You also now count as being undead.You also will no longer be hurt by getting near Ideal Masters but actually be healed (as you now serve them). I was thinking that maybe add some quests you can do for the Ideal Masters and get certain rewards, like some unique Phantom Armour, Phantom Weapons, spells like Summon Keeper, etc. _____ Thank you for reading this, and I hope one of you takes this up.
