Playing it slow

I feel exactly the same..my first character was bit of a rush, where i just stormed everything and moved forward....after getting to lvl 30 i realized this isnt how i wanted to play(i was just eager to see everything, but luckyly i didnt explored as much), so i deleted her, made a new character and playing really slowly now.

Im enjoying the beuty of this game to full and fast travel is a "no way" to me now.

Exactly same here.

I rushed through the MQ and a few side quests with a lot of fast travel. Then I was level 28 and I felt really bad.

I started a new character (Which looks exactly like the previous one) and I'm playing without fast travel (Carriage travel and horse/walking only). I've been playing for 20 hours and I'm level 10.

Playing slowly is a lot more fun and it feels more rewarding.

Hehe you are right about that...thats the backdraw about radiant....you go finish some q without fast travel and end up with another 30 quests

Happens to me ALL the time, then again that's because I'm always drunk when I play the game lol

Oh god how can you take all of that...i mean being drunk and having zilion of quests to do in that state and dont tell me you are being drunk ingame too..

I somehow always end up that way with my first character...dang that eagerness...i realized though that in games like tes or similiar ones i love the begining of the game, when i have a fresh character, but after a few hours played and getting levels i suddenly feel the urge to make a new character again...i think its becouse i get the feeling of "okay im again in the old ways" if you know what i mean.

Heh once I was wandering the frozen wasteslands of the north... trying to keep warm with the blizzard and snow saber cats trying to kill me... but once the blizzard cleared... I just stopped... as when I first saw those auroras in the night sky... oh hell that was a majestic experience heh. There's so much detail in this game, and it's just going to get better and better with mods and such.

Have to admit, Bethesda knows its audience.

LOL I am, because I spam power bashes/attacks all the time when drunk, and I end up having to drink up all the time haha. Funny really, when I get overencumbered and have the choice between an ebony mail or more booze, I pick the booze

Because of my pokemon attitude towards books (gotta have 'em all), getting a house was high the to-do list. I used fast travel to haul loot back to vendors until I had enough gold to buy and furnish my own place. Afterwards, the real playing began, and except for the carriage ride, no fast travel.

Same here, played for 40-ish hours as a warrior, used fast travel and just rushed everything. Got bored very quickly so made a new character and I'm now enjoying the game as it should be played.

I played like that on my first character. I didn't know I could sprint before 30 houres in.... I don't think I really did any quest chains, just simply exploring and random quests!

Reading the manual for every future game! I really should've known about sprinting.
