Delay Dragonborn DLC

Have you tried downloading Timing Is Everything? Check the kryptopyr's other mods, he has other quest mods too and all of them are worth using.

Not sure how you are playing but you can simply remove or audit any file with TES5Edit and lightly "patch" it yourself to remove that or delay it. I did that and forwarded some USLEEP changes the mod is missing for Afflicted Refugees to my own tastes.

It worked as intended with no problems noticed so far. This is his also "The Choice Is Yours". It delays Dragonborn and Dawnguard quests without relying on Hearthfire.

Oops. Looks like TCIY doesn't delay DB. Just subquests.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions. A previous post actually showed the precise edits required to delay the questline. (Although 2 people gave feedback - the edit worked for one but not the other. Strange, as changing the trigger condition seemed pretty straightforward.) In regards to TIE, even aside from the HF master, I was actually looking for something more lightweight i.e. that only delays the Cultists' appearance - I really don't mind any other quest starts (I'm ok with just avoiding whomever to delay certain questlines.)

In the end, though, the earlier suggestion about avoiding looting the body of the first appearing cultist seems like a pretty workable approach. Although when I eventually start a new game I might indeed give a shot to making a homemade plugin/ patch to change the DB start.

Lol, funny thing though, I keep finding so many cool adventure mods that my potential next game gets further and further away. Aside from the excellent usual suspects of Helgen Reborn, Falskaar and Wyrmstooth, I've played or am still playing the 2 Death Mountains, Grey Cowl of Nocturnal, Darkend, Summerset Isles - all just fantastic mods - and there's a couple others I have my eye on. Gawd, you gotta love this site!
