Hi there!

my question to the moders out there:

Is there a way to make my own chraracter as a companion?

If there is a way could you be so kind to tell me? :>

I think there are many Skyrim gamers out there that would love to do that ^_^

hope 4 a respond soon :D

Thanks!

Very easy when we get the Construction kit.

You know, I wake up every morning hoping for the Construction kit >.<

So, you'll have to wait for the CK to get out, and then ask somebody, or do it yourself.

I´ve been looking for a console command to clone our character, then use the follower command on the clone and use it as a companion, then showracemenu and change our character and keep the clone of the old one, needs to be done right in the beggining so it doesn´t mes the stats and skills.Though I don´t know the clone our character command. If this works it would be easy to create custom companions.

It shouldn't be particularly difficult, once there's a Creation Kit to work with. Create a character, assign them your character's stats and face variable values, and duplicate the AI and companion toggle processes from an NPC you want to copy the behavior of.

Yeah, this is the best way (and won't overwrite anything) but we'll have to wait for the editor. I know I'm certainly going to make a bunch of hirable/recruitable companions.

Having the Companion/Follower scripts already built into the game should make it be fairly simple to come up with all sorts of customized mods. I can't wait to create my own army.... if I can make the game engine work allow me to have multiple followers without getting overly buggy...
