Thrilled to see that the Nexus added ESO mod support to NMM. I will definitely make use of this feature. Oh, I've been modding TES games since Morrowind came out and consider myself a hardcore fan. For the record, I have played several Betas of ESO now, and enjoy it very much. It's not a TES game and it's not a generic MMO --- anyone who can take off their blinders and evaluate the game based on it's own merits alone is much more likely to enjoy it. It's aimed at the explorers, the story driven players and the role players, as well as the DAoC PvP type crowd. If you're one of those types you should be able to get your money's worth and then some. If you're an instant gratification type don't bother buying it.

Blog piece: Ads, Supporters, Endorsements and Bandwidth Throttling

I really agree with you 100% on everything. You seem to be running this network the way a sensible, yet user friendly business should be run. Kudos to you and throw me some ads and site skins please! +1 for a Donate button. I've held off on becoming a Premium Member since it never offered anything I really needed and I thought I probably was worth just as much for the amount of ad views I generate in a typical month since I visit this network allot. I'd like to toss $5 your way periodically and I'm more than happy to see some ads too. -

BLOG PIECE: Nexus development and expansion philosophy

I prefer cake to cookies, but many thanks nonetheless for hosting all of these great sites. :) -
I know it's probably a long shot for this forum, but I'm looking to start up a semi-hardcore NBA fantasy league. Probably going for a 10 team Roto style Keeper league, with a live Draft etc... Basically, I'm tired of joining random leagues that have at best 5-6 active participants at the start of the year and 2 active at the end of the season. My hope is that in starting a new Keeper league it will attract more dedicated players that have a serious interest in how well their team performs each season. I don't really want to make it a pay to play league, but if a cash prize at the end of the year is what it takes to keep people interested I'm willing to consider it. Give me a PM asap if you are interested in something like this. thanks!

Ai Caramba! That's allot of data. I figured the servers were getting smashed with Dawnguard having just come out, so no biggie. Thanks for all the great work you guys do to keep this site running. Nexus is the best! ps I love Greek food. :)

There were a couple of issues that I had with the new UI, however the changed made over the initial 3 days rectified them quite nicely. Keep up the good work. :)

Why would this computer have troubles with Skyrim?

the 9400 was very weak when it came out.... soon to be 5 generations ago. If your Power Supply can handle it, a new video card would do wonders for you. -
Skyrim High Resolution Textures Pack Problem
elderiii replied to amirrezasepehr's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Monitor your VRAM... too many HD textures will make it go well over your 1.5GB, especially if you have the settings all cranked up. -
Did you install the High Resolution Textures from Bethesda? It sounds as if your GPU is running out of VRAM. What resolution are you running it at?
-
Well, the truth of it is that you have a laptop running integrated graphics, so of course you can't play a new video game like Skyrim with any kind of decent settings. You can't add a new graphics card to a laptop either.
