ek1m
I mean, come on... Bethesda did such a good job, did every detail perfectly done BUT forgot about this, which is no detail?? omg bethesda!! :P I mean it's so silly to have 1 case for a dagger for example, and when you take it out, the second dagger appears from nowhere in your hand! I mean... omg... Just a mod for having a weapon case on the right side of your character's belt when dual wielding would be perfect.... So the character would just draw the left had weapon from there, not getting tired of using magic to make the second one appear on his hand... :P
Mehcrim
Yes this is incredibly annoying, it ruins the improved 3rd person camera for two of my characters ;( -which I really like btw
gOtHiCmetalhead
I just had this same realization not 2 hours ago, and said to myself...maybe in a patch? But patch or mod, it should be fixed!
Deathstruck
Cases? You mean sword sheaths? I would also like to see this though. :)
ek1m
I just had this same realization not 2 hours ago, and said to myself...maybe in a patch? But patch or mod, it should be fixed!yeah, "sheaths", that's the word! sorry, but English is not my native language so I can't speak perfectly. ;)Still, "case" suits as a word too!! :P I hope someone makes a mod or something to fix this because bethesda will never fix it in a patch!! ghosu
I guess the 2nd sheath and sword is just decoration...so even if you equip only one you see the 2nd sheath?
ek1m
guys, guys, I mean 2 sheaths in the normal dual wielding. One on the left and one on the right. so the 2nd weapon doesn't appear on your hand from nowhere. I don't care what happens for mods like this with 2 sheaths on the back! :P
ghosu
When you find a SINGLE working mod like this it would be possible to recreate it changing the position - BUT afaik it is not possible yet - at least i haven't seen one. That's why i'm asking if this 2nd sheath is just decoration (you can add any random 3D model to you sword, for example place a big yellow rubber duck on your head, displayed when you equip the sword) or a working one. Omesean
I have 0 experience with the CK ('T DOESNAE WURK!), but I did pull this off for Oblivion. I even had the bow I used stick to the back as well, even when the swords were equipped and pulled from their scabbards. Scabbards staying nice and crossed as well. It was a lot of work, and I had to fool around a lot in nifskope. I also used a script from Phinix's dual wield mod... which is why I never released it, it was purely for personal use. I am planning to make an armor mod that will do exactly that, so I think I can get working on it. From my experience with doing it for Oblivion, I will only do this for a few weapons - 't is a lot of work. Doubt I'll get it to work, tough, but there's always a chance =D
