sanada_yukimora
Alright, in my Data folder for Oblivion, I've already got a Meshes and Textures folder for another game. My problem is that I can't run several mods at once because they all require those folders and I can't put them all in that one folder because I'll overwrite the others. My character is basicly completely modded out, so if I remove ANY of them, he's a huge '!' So I need to know if theres anything else I can do. Omod won't let me add a whole folder when I try to create it anymore, for some reason, so that's out of the picture. I've got to find a way to get multiple Meshes and Textures folders into the Data folder at once, basicaly, while still letting it work. Renaming also dosen't work. Ideas? Septim741
They won't overwrite them. The box that pops up just lets you know if any of them share the same directory and name, which they most likely won't, they will be overwritten. Just copy and paste the texture folders fromt eh mod to your data folder and click yes on the box that pops up. That shouldn't overwrite anything, and all your mods should work. sanada_yukimora
You know, I could SWEAR that the last time I tried to do that, it said 'Moving folder here will overwrite previous folder. Proceed?' I SWEAR it. Thank you anyways!!! ^__^
Septim741
Regardless of the folder overwriting, the files inside should be kep the same. I'm not sure if this remains as easy with Vista though.
sanada_yukimora
No big deal. It'll be another few years before I get Vista; they need to work out the bugs and the glitches LONG before I trust my files to a new operating system.
