Continously played weapon sound

I replaced the sound for the minigun and it works. But when I stop shooting the shooting sound doesn't stop.

Does anyone know how to fix that?

when that happens to me, I open my pipboy and it stops, I don't use any weapon mods or mods that change weapon sounds

I am not certain about this by any means, but I think looping sounds are in some way related to the controller on .nif files. Did you replace the sound using CK?
