SirFrank114
I'm sure this issue has been address before but darn if I can find it. How does one remove a quest item once the quest is over? I have serveral items I just can't get rid of. Anyone know what to do?
LFact
console command 'SetQuestObject'. And I remember there's a plugin that allows removing quest item.
malkion
You can also go into the TESCS, find the items and uncheck Quest Items so you can drop them or Store them in a container.

g8rk0k
http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11531 If you really want to remove the quest status easily then this mod is the holy grail. Only thing is you will need OBSE but it's not that hard to set up. It works with every single item I have tried it with, whether or not it's vanilla, SI or from ANY mod I have tried. The guy who wrote it deserves to be president.
ninja_lord666
Who needs to waste space with a mod? The console command removeitem <itemcode> <qty> works just fine.
g8rk0k
Who needs to waste space with a mod? The console command removeitem <itemcode> <qty> works just fine. I got the mod because that only worked with vanilla items. I would use the console to get the ID of whatever it was I was trying to get rid of and then do the remove item command only to get some kind of message back saying it was invalid parameter object or some other garbage. And sometimes I don't want to get rid of the item, just make it so I can put it in storage, a large axe I have from myths and legends comes to mind. The mod I linked to doesn't actually remove the item, it makes it so you can drop it, sell it, store it, whatever else like any other item.
