Going to Sleep Kills me

I just started playing Fallout New Vegas again, and when I tried going to sleep the first time, I die, even if it's only one hour. I have no idea why this is happening. I do have mods installed, but I don't know what is causing the problem. It maybe has something to do with the dehydration levels, so it may be a mod, but I'm not sure. I don't have hardcore mode on either. Does anyone know how to deal with this issue?

I presume you are playing in "Hard Core" mode? If so, have you satisfied your other basic needs?

 

Do you have "yellow" or "red" levels of radiation poisoning?

 

Have you been poisoned by a creature?

 

Your problem is most likely "hard core needs" related. You may want to look into any settings related to them rather than a mod conflict.

 

However, I do note you do not have a "merged" or "bashed" patch. That can mean you are not getting your intended results from both PN and Imp's mods. Use a Wrye Flash Bashed Patch or a manually created "merge patch" file to resolve record level conflicts. See S.T.E.P. Merging Plugins Guide which covers both approaches. (Use of "Mod Organizer" is not required.) Use the Wrye Bash Pictorial Guide to quickly get functional with "Wrye Flash", which I think is the easier approach for a novice modder.

It seems that Imp's Complex Needs might be causing the issue. I completely forgot about making merged patches. Will have to make one soon. Thank you dubiousintent.

 

I will make a merged patch and see if that may fix the issue. And no, I do not have hardcore mode on. Neither am I poisoned or have any radiation poisoning.

 

Couldn't get Complex Needs to work, even with a batched and merge patch. I'll just uninstall it.
