Archon, the idea of the magic mod is to change the way the battles work. Instead of spamming staggering destruction spells which don't cost nothing and very long battles, the mod makes battles much shorter and your success more dependent on hitting your foes correctly and with the right spell.

I play adept on everything, but some times (only on thief, when there's a really hard fight I've died over 10 times on, I take it down to novice, take out a couple of the enemy's, then put it back the adept- games are supposed to be fun, and getting raped over and over isn't.

Master.

Anything under and I get overpowered too early. Heck, I wish I could get something harder.

Adept

With my new thief/assassin character, still stuck on adept, though a LOT more challenging then I had thought compared to my invincible tank character. Now no longer a tank, have to be careful, very careful.

Expert with my dagger assasin. Can still one shot a dragon from sneak (invisibility potion + dragon sleeping on land). Stealth is kinda imba in this game. Level 37 and I don't feel like anything could possibly stop me anymore.

Already at 70 :) 30 more to go. Love it when you can massacre an entire bandit camp with no problem. But when I was running through the snow had to hit and run against a wispmother! hell! Still remember how easy they were with my warrior lol

Darn ice spells makes it hard to run too!

Oh that happened to me actually too and not only with wispmother...i like assassin gameplay where you have to be carefull, becouse once you are out of stealth it goes fast down with you

...dragons are a serious problem for me...really hard even with shadow warrior(i actually didnt spent all my points on the stealth perk so its nice challenging, dont want to be like in oblivion jumping in bright day before enemies and they dont see me :wallbash:) ...but the cool thing is...with it i can get to safety when it works..i also suggest you should try the 3 sec mod for shadow warrior, becouse the original 1 sec is kinda useless..or atleast was for me xd

Heh and considering I had a problem with my first elder dragon underestimating it as a sword/shield warrior, I will probably be torn a new butthole with my assassin! haha

After that very difficult battle with the wispmother I'm thinking of improving my non-sneak skills to balance up too. Smithing is rather essential actually though, it really does make a big difference.
