Jackal2233
After seeing the latest mods with ESP files... yet no tutorials available of how people managed to do it. I'm going to have to ask... how did you guys do it?

Jackal2233
Thanks, ok I just got TESsnip, tried to load up Skyrim.esm but... "unexpected error" :wallbash:Ok going to try FNVsnip... EDIT: Erm, where's FNVsnip? Edited November 21, 2011 by Jackal2233
ishmaeltheforsaken
As far as I know, you've got to use TESSnip through FOMm.
Jackal2233
Damn... so I have to install FO3 just to mod Skyrim? >.<Oh well, thanks though.
runestyr
FOMM won't even run for me...it keeps looking for Fallout and won't proceed because I don't have Fallout. But until that's solved, I can still play with textures.
ishmaeltheforsaken
FNVEdit still works. I think you can create a dummy NV directory to get it to start. I have NV installed so I didn't have to do that though :/
Jackal2233
Just tried FNVedit, I only have FO3 and it's not installed, not New Vegas. It comes up with an error on the messages: "Fatal: Can not find FNV registry keys" or something
PaladinRider
Just wait for the CK to release especially if you've never used FNVedit before.. That's my opinion.
diamondoptic
FOMM won't even run for me...it keeps looking for Fallout and won't proceed because I don't have Fallout. But until that's solved, I can still play with textures. just make a copy of the exe and rename it FalloutNV.exe or whatever.. or you could probably just make a txt file and change it to that too.. Thats how i got FOMM to run for me, just had to trick it into thinking the fnv exe file was present
