Skyrim...WITH GUNS!

What sounds like it might be fun is a skyrim mod that implements guns, the story could be set where you're sent back in time as a future dragonborn with measly pistols and shotguns and with the crafting abilities now craftable ammo is a possibility. The game has the proper physics for it along with dual wielding (spells) so long as there are limits to what's wielded. I can see myself running up to a dragon in slow motion blasting pistols into it. f*** yeah..oh and METAL!

Why does it have to be OP when creating ammo can be as sparse as finding all the ingredients to make it and having only a few guns two your arsenal. Using a pistol and a sword would be fun too, I'm sure there are ways to balance this. Besides if you really want to know OP just be an archer i'm playing it on normal and anything i spot from 50 feet is dead in one arrow.

I like the idea, as long as the firearms are balanced and believable. The whole archer thing, you know, at least in my opinion, is spot on in terms of power. One arrow SHOULD kill you, and DOES kill in the real world. Maybe not larger beasts/dragons/demons etc.

Anyway, I like this idea, but should be kept within reasonable boundaries in terms of making it realistic, believable, and appropriate to the story and feel of the game. Which...may prove difficult. But give it a go. Good luck

I wouldn't want to see modern or futuristic guns like the ones that are in Fallout 3. However, as long as the guns are flintlock and such, I think this would be pretty cool. Especially if you can put a blade in one hand and a gun in the other! Edited by Elec1

I'd vote for muskets and flintlocks at least. Maybe you could craft the ammo for it using fire salts and some other stuff for 'explosive powder' and different metals to create the different bullet types. Also you can counter-balance the high damage output with the reload rate (putting new powder in, the bullet, etc).
