diskpanic
I play with iNeed and Amazing Follower Tweaks. I like to play with follower needs on (though set modestly), and enjoy running around with 3-5 followers at a time. The food gets expensive, especially when an elk drops only enough meat to feed one person for one meal. I see a lot of animal drop mods, but the problem is, they go overboard. Prices are ridiculous (often pelts cost as much as steel armors and weapons), and the economy gets broke, fast. I want realistic amounts of meat from hunting. I don't want easy money. If I wanted easy money, I'd just player.additem f 99999. Hunters earning enough to fund a personal army breaks immersion. So, I'd love to see a very basic hunting mod that added more meat to animals.. This is the ONLY thing that's absolutely essential. Example: Chicken drops 1. Goat drops 2 meat. Elk, Deer, Cow, etc drop 6 meat. Mammoth drop 12 meat (one change from vanilla, getting rid of the "snout". Would you eat an 8 foot tube of elephant boogers? No, neither would I.). The following would be nice (in decreasing importance):(1) reduce prices of meat to reflect the "abundance" problem. (Econ101)(2) give animals more of their logical vanilla loot. For example: 2-4 tusks from mammoths, 4-6 claws from bears, 1-2 eyes from sabers, etc.(3) removing "people loot" (potions, gold, etc.) from animal loot tables, except for goats (as a joke). Leave "pelts" and "hides" vanilla. I'm considering doing it myself, given the age of the game, but the time it would take to learn the software is putting me off. Cheers. EDIT: Poking around in the Creation Kit now.EDIT 2: You know what, I have a working version.. Took a minute to figure out.EDIT 3: Now... how do I mess with the gp value of the meat?
