nicktheduke
Hi allI remember this problem from before but please remind me. I’m trying to use Candid v3 ENB with Oblivion Reloaded but I’m getting transparent weapons/fists in first person. The only way to resolve issue is turning off AO in ENB but even when trying to use OR’s AO instead, I still have the transparency problem. Was there ever a fix for this without turning off AO?Could I use Reshade/SweetFX? Do I need to try another ENB?Reinstall everything? lol
bevilex
Did you try to activate and tweak the skin shader of Oblivion Reloaded ? I remember an ENB author talking about it in his mod description. Edited July 27, 2016 by bevilex
nicktheduke
Hi again Bevilex! Yes I think I tweaked the skin shader but didn't seem to work. Do you still use ENB? If so, do you have this problem?
bevilex
Yes I use ENB (custom made) with Ambient Occlusion activated. It works fine. I remember having this problem in the past with some ENBs but I can't remember how I solved the problem. I guess it depends on the ENB ... maybe try another one, for instance Cinematic ENB. No need to reinstall everything ;) the problem is only the ENB
nicktheduke
Could you would you possibly share some of your ENB presets, so that I can compare SSAO?
bevilex
This preset should work fine:http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/46356/?I will share mine when it is finished Edited July 28, 2016 by bevilex
nicktheduke
Great. Thanks Bevilex. However I think I might have found a fix... Turn off Skin shaders in OR. Download OBGE and install OBGE's Skin shader. Enable AO in ENB. I know Alenet says that OBGE conflicts but do you think this is a good solution? bevilex
You mean using ENB with AO, OR without Skin Shader and OBGE's Skin shader ?Are you sure you can't solve that with the latest version of OBGE (OR) only ?It seems not to be a bad idea but you may have some incompatibilies, you'll need to test that. I think the best is to choose an ENB compatible with the latest version of OR, and with no AO problem, then tweak the enbseries.ini to your liking, and eventually the .fx files. Candid ENB is not perfect imo
