  1. It worked when I used your recommended software. I guess it was the ID3 because I removed manually all data I could (and there was no ID3 to remove) and it didn't work. Thanks for the answer!
  2. Hi all, So I am trying to add some Witcher 3 musics to Oblivion. I know where to place them and I have made sure this is the same format as the Vanilla musics (.mp3), but the game doesn't want to read them. I saw that the bit rate was high, so I lowered it to 192, same as the Vanilla musics, but the game still doesn't want to use them. What am I missing? Thanks.
  3. For some ENBs both work in-game without problems. Try to remove the sunglare texture added by Oblivion Reloaded in the Sky texture folder.
  4. The other popular leveling mod is Oblivion XP. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/35333/? This one changes completely the leveling system with the introduction of experience reward. Install the one you prefer ;)
  5. it does a lot more. There is a huge Readme available for download in the modpage. If you want to mix it with other overhauls, afaik it is only compatible with WAC (not all plugins). But I never played it.
  6. OBSE does not need the steam overlay to work at all. I am using OBSE and ENB together without issues.
  7. You can try to use the tool Tes4ll. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/40549/? If I remember well it will regenerate those files depending on the mods you use.
  8. See my Nexus profile's files for another guide. Mine is focused on graphics.
  9. Hi, Oblivion is now available for purchase as a DMR - free game. https://www.gog.com/game/the_elder_scrolls_iv_oblivion_game_of_the_year_edition_deluxe I am just wondering if they were any potential improvements in terms of stability/performance compared to the Steam version? As a modder and player is there any advantages using one version or the other? I always modded the game on Steam and it works fine but if this version is better I might actually buy it too. Thanks ;)
  10. Turn off the Framerate manager of Oblivion Reloaded if you have it. It modifies automatically some sliders in-game.
  11. Your game will look and run better, at a minimal cost on performance considering your hardware. What you can do is: - Install the stability mods and the unofficial patches (really important) - The base texture packs: "QTP3" and "Bomret Texture Pack" to improve the visuals - Add on top of that an overhaul like Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul (will add many nice features, creatures, weapons, armors etc.) - An ENB to improve even more the graphics And you are good to play! If you have the time and patience add all the retextures/replacers that I listed. If you have more questions about the modlist please ask on the dedicated comment section: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47591/?
  12. It depends on your modding experience. I tried to make it clear and easy to understand, it's not difficult. One afternoon or two will be enough I guess. If you never modded Oblivion or used Wrye Bash (I really recommend to use it to install Oblivion mods), it may take longer. But you don't have to install everything though, install the stability mods and the base texture packs, then just take what you really need. If you have questions or a problem you can ask us on the comment section. There are also video guides to help you at every step.
  13. Yes, you will have very high stability and performance if you follow it correctly! This list has been tested by me and received positive feedbacks from users. You can mostly find graphical mods but also the most important stability mods and some gameplay/quest/overhaul mods at the end.
  14. Hi, have a look here: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47591/?
  15. You maybe forgot to install a skeleton mod. Skeleton mods are often necessary for other clothes/body mods to work correctly. You can try this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/27945/? or this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/37596/?
  16. You can't have Alive Water.esp and Alive Water No Fish.esp at the same time in your load order. You have the same mod installed two times. That may be problem. Also, you should try to deactivate NvidiaPatch and RenderBoost in your oblivionreloaded.ini, these settings can cause random freezes and CTDs to some users.
  17. Use another mod manager. NMM is not good for Oblivion, it doesn't work with all mods. I advise you to use Wrye Bash instead. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/22368/?
  18. Ok ... thanks for the answer. I don't have the 1,000 unique downloads for now. However my comment section is getting big, with more than 800 comments, that's why I may need these features.
  19. No I don't have those buttons at all. I can only "view the download history" of each users. Maybe there's an option to activate that somewhere? I checked in "Edit attributes" but it doesn't seem to be here. Or maybe those actions are not available for all the file?
  20. Hi, I added a new file recently but it seems I am not able to perform certain actions on it. For instance I can't find a way to remove some comments or to block users. I can only lock the thread, view the download history, and stick/unstick comments. Haven't I searched enough or it is simply not possible? Thank very much.
  21. I don't remember really well, but maybe the flames are here only at night? Have you checked that?
  22. Oblivion has thousands of great mods. Probably the second most modded game after Skyrim. It has amazing mods that Skyblivion will probably never have. If you have sufficient knowledge of modding the game I don't see why you should wait for a Vanilla game on Skyrim's engine, you'll be missing out a lot of nice content (not only quests, but also new weapons, armors, locations, creatures etc etc). Some great quest mods for Oblivion: Rathunas The Lost Spires (there are many others ...) I never played Fallout 3 or New Vegas, so I am not sure if they are exactly the kind of quest mods you are searching, but they are very good, and part of my load order. They fit Oblivion's world so well that I do not consider removing them even when I will finish them.
  23. Perhaps you could ask Alenet, the author of Oblivion Reloaded, I think he has a lot of knwoledge on how the engine works. He wrote an article about his study of the Oblivion.ini settings, using the reverse engineering method. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/articles/44178/?
  24. This one is really good: - The lost spires http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12997/?
