Radial Blur

Is it possible to completely disable the radial blur you get when you use big spells, get hit, etc.? My computer is horrible and can hardly run Skyrim at all, so I'm looking for ways to get rid of the more taxing graphics functions. I've managed to sort of disable shadows and water reflections, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the radial blur, and Google isn't helping me figure out how to use SetGlobalRadialBlur in the console. Considering every time I cast a spell that triggers the radial blur, my framerate drops to about .5, that's next on the list of things to go.

Alright, well thanks to soullessone20 in the nexus chat, I've discovered that "sgrb 1 0 0 0 1" pretty much disables all of the radial blur, so I can actually cast Blizzard without my screen becoming a muddled bunch of seemingly random pixels for ten seconds. \o/

I too am looking for a way to turn this radial blur off but have found nothing from google. I wonder if there is a way to permanently disable the effect rather than temporarily through teh console?

When you say ""sgrb 1 0 0 0 1" pretty much disables all of the radial blur" what are you talking about?

To clarify for people who may find this on google and be confused by that statement like I was (perhaps i'm just an idiot):

if you type "sgrb 1 0 0 0 1" into the console ingame it will turn off the blur effect (oviously temporarily), in one case at least as I have tested.

I was referring to the console command, sgrb.

Try going to SkyrimPrefs.ini and look for this -

[blurShader]

bUseBlurShader=0

I'm not positive but I think that works.

Si, that does remove it. I'm not having performance issues but I find radial blur annoying in every game (I'm playing a game with huge draw distances, I'm not watching a scripted CoD sequence thank you very much)
