kitsuneshoujo
Ok currently I have a character I really really like, and dont want to have to try to redo her because I wont get it right; Ive already tried. But I would like to restart the game using her again. Is this even possible? Would I need a save-game editor? I havent been able to find one yet, so I doubt one has been made... mgbeach
Assuming you're on PC, is there a way to basically reset your character's level and quest advancement with console commands?
kitsuneshoujo
I know you can remove perks and stuff, but I dont think you can delevel and set all your quests to 0 again...
LHammonds
If by "character" you are referring to how you have the sliders set in the "showracemenu" dialog box, I don't believe we have such a utility at the moment. But you can rest assured that there probably will be one in the near future. Oblivion had a few ways to transfer the looks from one savegame to another. If I recall correctly, before we had that ability, there was a way to jot down each of the slider values so they could be applied to a new character. This was a manual process. You might be able to replicate the same thing by using the "showracemenu" console command and noting where the sliders are set. This may require reloading your savegame multiple times to get the right settings. LHammonds
Ashbean
this might seem silly, i know, but when is your earliest manual save? it's entirely possible you have an old save just out of helgen/some other point right at the start of the game, where you will still be level one- could be worth checking
kitsuneshoujo
Yeah I was thinking of trying it like that. I was just hoping there was either console commands for resetting everything, or an editor I somehow missed.
