Help please : two mods and ships overlap

I have two mods that I love
Falskaar and Qaxe's questorium

both are a boat docked at the same place in Dawnstar
it result that ships overlap and it's very difficult to enter inside boats
how to move one boat further ?
I am not a modder, but I've already used the CreationKit with Oblivion for small things,
but move a boat seems complicated to me.
do I make the correction in the mod or create a patch (because the mod can be updated)?
And ..............how to create a patch ?

Wow, I just did this for my game yesterday, though I'm not sure if what I saved was just the patch or all of Falskaar with my patch in it. I'm new to this mod-creating thing myself. The only other mod I've done is one I've been working on as I follow these tutorial videos on YouTube:

 

Moving the boat wasn't as hard as you & I feared it would be. All I did was dragged the mouse over everything I wanted to move (as if they were files, only in this case the file icons looked like a boat and a dock) and moved the items like they were walls I was making following the videos I linked to. After that it was simply a matter finding how best to fit the boat into its new position, relocating a couple event markers, and putting a fish spawning site back where it was (I had included it because I thought it was part of the mod at first, but later learned what it really was). The most frustrating thing I had was not being able to click on the boat for about a minute after I had first moved it. This was due to me actually clicking on a transparent, yellow box that surrounds the boat's new site. I didn't know I was clicking on that (I still don't know what it is anyway) until I had zoomed out a bit. I solved it by zooming in a little more than I had been.

 

I sent PMs to both authors seeking their blessings for me to post the patch here (even though technically I only moved one boat). I'm going to give it a week before I upload it without hearing from either one. But like I said it wasn't that hard at all. If you don't want to wait that long you can easily do it yourself. Just make sure you save a back-up copy of both mods just in case you do make a mistake (lucky me, I didn't have a big one).

Few notes about moving the ship ...

 

You can press 1 on objects 3 times to make them invisible and un-clickable. Use this on the things around the ship before you try to highlight the ship as a whole to move it.

You could use this to hide everything around the ship even the water. Once you have the ship highlighted press f5 to reset everything and you will still have the ship highlighted.

Also: make sure the GRID box it turned off as this will try to move the tings you highlighted on a grid possibly killing the spots they are in now on the ship. Good luck!

Posting a new esp that moves the boat but still requires the original mod does not need permission from the author. However if you made your changes directly to the Falskaar.esp then you can't upload that it would be just for your own use.
