  1. I had an issue with my game, and it was suggested to me to make a bashed patch and see if that fixes it. I made the patch, but now the game gets stuck loading the main menu after the Bethesda logo. If I start the game without the patch active I can play just fine (with the exception of the original issue). With the patch active I get the logo, the ENB stuff displays and I get the Skyrim/Dragonborn symbol, but once there I have no smoke appearing nor is there any sound, and it doesn't seem to do anything after that. I have not yet tried waiting a bit longer, but I doubt that will change anything. Link to original issue: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6562226-crash-when-buying-books/ Load order:
  2. It was suggested to me to create a bashed patch and see if that fixes the problem. I finally got around to doing that, but now the game gets stuck on loading the main menu after the Bethesda logo.
  3. I ran the game without the LotDB mod and the books were visible, and no crashes when I tried reading or buying them. Now I need to figure out if it's the mod or a patch I'm missing.
  4. Back in August I messed up something with my Skyrim game, and decided to just take a break from it completely for a bit. A couple weeks ago I decided to start playing again so I either redownloaded the mods I used or their updates, and I did a complete uninstall/reinstall of Skyrim itself. Last week I finally started a new game, got the mods in order, cleaned the masters, and started playing. I had a handful of mods loaded at first, got inside the tower with Ralof, was freed, saved & exited the game, and activated the remaining mods. I resumed play and got to the Riverwood Trader. I spoke with the merchant and started selling off stuff I picked up and buying spell books from him. The game decided to crash when I got down to the zombie spell. I reloaded and tried again but got the same result. I then moved my saved games to a different folder and started a fresh game with all the mods loaded. I got to the same spot and the same thing happened. On both playthroughs I also noticed that no books were appearing in Helgen in the spots where they normally would. I suspect it might have something to do with the Dragonborn Museum mod, but I don't know for sure. I'd appreciate any help to get the game running again. My load order is:
  5. I just found out I can't access my download history on the new site. Anyone know how to find it?
  6. Sadly I think the answer is to use the new layout.
  7. I find myself agreeing with Crimsomrider. The new site is a step backwards.
  8. Sorry, I don't remember what I had to click on to get to them.
  9. Just to be clear, if I want to add the Lost Grimoire of Skyrim (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60796/?) to the list of spells ASIS adds to NPCs in my game I type in the filename.esp to the mod inclusion list, correct? And then if there are spells that I know cause me CTDs if I cast them I'd have to add them to the exclusion list so the NPCs don't get them. Would that have to be the name of the spells when I look them up in the Creation Kit?
  10. Update: I spoke with the barkeeper in Raven Rock. He talked about Ralis looking for investors but there was no accompanying quest marker pointing toward him, and he still wasn't giving out the quest. I also tried advancing the quest with the console command about an hour after my first post but nothing changed from it either. Ralis is still at the barrow digging and just saying his normal greetings. Nothing about needing investors for his expedition, or miners, or whatever.
  11. So in my current game I started doing the Dragonborn quests a few days ago. I ran across Ralis Sedarys and spoke with him to start his quest, but all he would say was "Hello Serra." I thought maybe I needed to do something else to start the quest, but when I checked up on it last night I didn't see there being any prerequisites for it. So far I've tried using the disable/enable and recycleactor commands but none changed the dialogue. Does anyone have a suggestion?
  12. Oh the usual. New spells, new items, new quests, new locations, any sort of graphic improvements if possible. I'm not looking for anything that's too lore-breaking/overpowering though, and I realize that the last one there might be fairly hard since this game came out in 2002.
  13. Hello all, I've been thinking about playing Morrowind for the first time since 2007 and was wanting to get some mods for the game. I had downloaded two in the past and I still have them. One was an island full of skeletons and the other provided adamantium stuff for smithing. I'm looking for some suggestions that keeps the gameplay as close to the original game as possible (ie nothing like Requiem for Skyrim, I hated that mod). Mainly new quests, new spells, new locations, graphic overhauls, those sorts of things. Having said that, I am looking for a mod that changes the recovery rate of health, magicka, and stamina to that of Skyrim's method. That's really the one thing that's keeping me from installing it again. And listed below are some of my favorite mods from Skyrim. If there's a similar mod in Morrowind I'd appreciate it if someone lets me know. Also I have the GotY edition of Morrowind, so I'd like to know if there's any sort of unofficial patch that's needed for it as well. SkyUI Notice Board Flora Respawn Fix Wyrmstooth (I know this one and the next three aren't for ES3. I'm just looking for something similar.) 14. After completing the DB quests I would run into her feeding along the road every so often. One night she appeared near a sabercat. Out of boredom I hid and used Throw Voice to aggro the sabercat in Babbette's direction. I ended up thoroughly disappointed in her. She used her vampiric drain for all of two seconds before running away crying "Leave me alone."
