Conjuration Necromancy Branch - How Much Is It Necessary?

Hi All

 

I have been playing the game for a while and I have a level 43 char speciallized in conjuration+ranged attacks. As you know conjuration skill has a branch of necromancy and it has got spells such as Dread Zombie, Raise Zombie, Reanimate Corpse and Reverant. What I want to ask is, are these spells somehow worth using for a char at level 100 conjuration. With such a char you can conjure two dremora lords which are pretty powerful allies. As you can't conjure-resurrect more than 2 at the same time, necromancy skill seems pretty useless cause the creatures and people that you resurrect with necromancy spells are weaker than dremore lords almost everytime. I want to learn what is the point of necromancy and is this skill somehow becomes useful at the latter levels.

I think they're more for novelty, to play with, and some ppl get a kick out of it. But that's just my opinion.

The Sanguine Rose can be pretty useful during the lower levels.

In vanilla, magic period is very limited, nerfed, and rather lame. Beth pretty much did everything they could to discourage people from playing as mages, and mosy people will tell you that even dedicated mages shouldnt get many perks, as the vanilla perks suck.

 

Now, once you start adding mods, the whole world changes.
