  1. Purple textures are usually missing textures. disable your tree mods until you find the one causing the issue.
  2. looks like a few of my exes lol jk
  3. did you even read his post? He said crash fixes said "failed to allocate memory" lol. OP: make sure your enb local is configured correctly. Reduce texture sizes if you can. I really suggest using MOSTLY 1k exceptions being armor and mountains which you can go 2k. Also use skyrim performance monitor and check your overall memory usage....make sure you arent going over 4GB. thats the limit on windows 10. If you are you will have to reduce things to stay below that.
  4. Yes...everyone that is into this..."special" kind of stuff *cough cough*. If you dont have any insightful advice to offer then why reply? I personally dont have any desire to turn skyrim into a porno but i am not gonna hate on others for doing so. Play the game how you wanna play it. OP: you more than likely installed a clothing mesh replacer that converts outfits into "skimpy" outfits.
  5. yeah mines doing it too. I barely notice it tho because i use the vanilla loading screens. Maybe its a driver issue. Seems were all using nvidia gpus and drivers.....
  6. some mods arent packaged correctly for MO. You have to understand file structure a little bit. What mod are you trying to install?
  7. It can occur for various reasons such as below. Incompatible Body Mods (including body or armor meshes, and .esp files that alter the body shape/type)Please install the correct version according to the body/armor mesh you use. Incompatible NPC ModsIncompatible Race ModsIn these cases, installing the skin textures into their own folder may fix it. Please check their description or ZIP Content Preview for the folder structure. For certain custom races, the skin tone texture may also be the cause. If that is the case, replacing it with 'Skintone.dds Fix for Custom Races' in the optional files section will fix it. Combination with Other Skin ModsPlease make sure that the textures are installed from one mod per texture-set (Diffuse map, _s, _sk, and _msn). Otherwise, install all the necessary skin textures from this mod. Complexion SliderIt may cause the slight color mismatch between the head and the body. This mod's freckle textures are fixed, but vanilla or any compressed face detail maps will be the cause. Therefore, compressing face detail maps is unrecommended. Vampire Skin Tone BugIt can be fixed by installing Vampire Skin Color FIX or Vampire Skin Tone Fix. ENB SettingsSetting the 'ColorPow' values to 1.0 and disabling 'FixTintGamma' is recommended to make the seams less noticeable. enbseries.ini [ENVIRONMENT] ColorPowSunrise=1.0 ColorPowDay=1.0 ColorPowSunset=1.0 ColorPowNight=1.0 ColorPowInteriorDay=1.0 ColorPowInteriorNight=1.0 ColorPowDawn=1.0 ColorPowDusk=1.0 enblocal.ini [FIX] FixTintGamma=false
  8. try putting this line the fixes section of your enb local IgnoreLoadingScreen=true
  9. English probably isnt his first language. Mod packs arent allowed for multiple reasons. Permissions, credits, original authors wouldnt get stats on their page or endorsements. You also mentioned that you wouldnt be making money....neither do the authors. You cant release other peoples work without their permission.
  10. 100% agree with this. Its either legitimate or not. make up your mind. I did. I said he wasnt trolling. Legitimate complaint. Just due to everything on this site being FREE it isnt really justified. Untangle your little panties lol
  11. so you revive an ancient thread instead of creating your own?
  12. Not sure why so many responded with such hostility lol. I understand the OP's point too. But you have to keep in mind people do this as a hobby for FREE. We are using FREE content that others spent hours, days, weeks, or months creating, for FREE. Also things die off eventually. A lot of active modders might be out of new ideas. Skyrim pretty much has it all mod wise at the moment. anyways guys loosen up. I didnt view this a troll post. Legitimate complaint. Just hard to justify complaining when the content is FREE.
  13. make sure you read through that link i posted. http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#Overwrite I personally drag and drop all folders that MO puts into overwrite into the same mod i create from sky proc patchers and FNIS. If you look at my mod list in my sig you will see at bottom a mod called YASHed profile thats a mod created fromm overwrite and it contains FNIS, dual sheath redux, and all skse generated logs. Thats what i suggest you do as well. Name it same name as your profile so that in case you have multiple profiles everything is seperated. The link above explains how the overwrite folder works in MO.
  14. My mod lists typically take 3-4 days to get fully setup. And im very experienced with MO lol. I have tried minimal installs.....but i just cant go without. The city overhauls are tricky to get working right and stable in a heavy load order. Big reason why i choose not to use them. As well as performance reasons. Sad too cause IMO skyrims towns and cities were VERY disappointing. Probably the area of the game thats lacking the most. Anyways my horror story is spending a week setting up mod list only to realize it ctds constantly in combat due to memory issues......just too much for windows 10 i guess. Week of my life wasted Ive experienced it all at least once tho. Purple textures, lighting issues, shadow striping, textures not loading, severe script lag, NPC's frozen not doing normal routines, etc etc list goes on and on.
  15. Is your game crashing to desktop or are you saying the Mod Organizer tool itself is crashing? Sounds like you mean your game is crashing to desktop. Crash fixes crash log will be put into the overwrite folder. Papyrus logs arent crash logs....they show scripting errrors. dont bother with that. If you want help you will need to post your load order. In meantime read through this.......its the crash bible for skyrim. The two most common causes of ctds are memory issues and or plugin conflicts. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/troubleshooting_guide
  16. indeed vsync in my enblocal.ini is enabled and my graphics card's vsync is also on. I'm going to try forcing it in my skyrim.ini EDIT: it worked. thanks for your help. I just needed to set iPresentInterval under [Display] in my skyrim.ini to 1 and it worked. it's just inconvenient to be locked at 60. (still better than the water bug though!) I don't even have an "iPresentInterval" line in my Skyrim.ini. Is that weird? It's three years later. Skyrim mistakenly puts the line under prefs.ini (its an error by bethesda) the correct location is skyrim.ini use this to fix your ini files. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69787/? Also you cap your fps to 58ish to prevent physics issues. Mine is always capped at 55.
  17. http://www.gameskinny.com/ovwqn/how-to-reassociate-nxm-files-with-nexus-mod-manager That should fix your issue ^^
  18. lol at the bad advice in this thread. ELFX is fine. leave it in. Use this to properly set your ENB local.ini (it will remove that message) http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBlocal_INI/Memory
  19. If you truly expect help you will need to post a lot more information. Mod list, load order, what you removed, etc etc. Removing mods mid play through is never a good idea.
  20. Yes. Easily. Skyrim started with no mods too. But the next installment in the series will be taking full advantage of MUCH better hardware, better engine, and will more than likely be superior in every way at least graphically for sure. Story and gameplay are always a toss up i guess.
  21. Oh, yes. The 1070 is the best-bang-for-the-buck GPU out there currently. An i5-6600k will overclock easily (if you need to.) By way of example, I've got an i5-3570k on a Z77 mobo that normally runs at 3.4GHz. A simple overclock in my UEFI (BIOS) -that doesn't even require tweaking the voltage, gets me 4.2GHz. So your 6600K will do nicely. However, if you do overclock, make sure your CPU cooler is up to the job. I would recommend a simple All-In-One self-contained water cooler like the Corsair H50. You can stress-test your overclocked CPU with Prime-95 and monitor your core temps with Core Temp. You must have got a good one cause i had to increase voltage to get that on mine. I backed it off to 4 now tho and thats what its been at for the last 2 years. Yeah, I wondered about that myself. Guess I won the "silicon lottery". On the downside, two of my core temps DO skirt the warning line when I stress-test with Prime-95. However, that's a deliberate "torture test", so I don't worry about it for my gaming. yeah temps were a reason i backed it back down to 4ghz. It was stable but the temps were higher than i liked. The ol H60 cant handle super high clocks and i didnt wanna decrease lifespan of cpu. 4.4 was the highest i got it and stable but the temps were getting up there. I dont remember the voltage or temperatures tho. been quite a while since ive messed with any of that or been in the BIOS.
  22. I doubt campfire and wet and cold are your problem. The fact you arent using memory fixes likely is tho. You need ENBoost and crash fixes or the skse memory patch. Google is your friend if you dont know what these are. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/troubleshooting_guide http://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost
  23. Papyrus logs arent crash logs. They show scripting errors and generally arent going to help you. The mod crash fixes does have a crash log and i strongly suggest using it. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/troubleshooting_guide
