Theory dealing with the Elder Scrolls Games (i.e The Landscape)

I know some of you had to of thought about it, or at least have seen a map of all of Tamriel. High Hrothgar could be a volcano in its own right. I can give some proof that should help you understand what I mean. Looking at a map of Tamriel, place your finger on the mountain of High Hrothgar and trace a line straight to the volcano of Vvardenfell, or The Red Mountain. Believe it or not, but both line up. If that doesn't peak your interest, then here is another. Geysers almost always form over magma chambers. The heat causes the water to boil and burst up. Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park sits on top of a magma chamber. In Skyrim, geysers can be found in The Rift. Still not convinced? The Aetherium Wars quest only proves my theory even more. The Aetherium Forge sits directly in The Rift. Not only that, The main Chamber of the Forge is inside of a massive magma chamber.

I want to read your opinions on this. So comment away with your own theories.

Your evidence is compelling. I concede that High Hrothgar may well be a volcano, but I will add that if it's so, I believe that it's a volcano that will remain forever dormant. One does not simply erupt under the Greybeards. Then again, a lava plume captured in an ice form shout might be an interesting sight.
