xlr8films
disappointing for the good guy - not being able to marry Muiri. She's the prettiest girl in the game, too bad she's in the Dark Brotherhood. By the way, does anyone know, what happens to my horse if I buy another one? can I make my follower mount it? Because I tried to make Lydia mount my horse and I couldn't - she thought I wanted her to attack the horse. Yeah she's hot, if she's the one I'm thinking of. Gives you a quest, right? I thought I lost a horse by misadventure (we were attacked by a dragon and ogres, I think) and I bought another one in Whiterun. I'm not sure if my orig horse did, in fact, perish... but he was certainly replaced. I couldn't get any of my followers to ride, either.

Because it's kinda unfair watching a girl in heavy armour running after my mage in robes, who's riding a horse.
jt70ss454
I fast traveled with Shadowmere got off and pursued the quest. Came out on a ledge on the other side of the cave. Fast traveled back to Whiterun and no Shadowmere. He is lost and I can't find him anywhere. Fast traveled to all the stables and farms. No luck. The_Beef
Is it confirmed, though, that owning the horse does speed up fast travel time? Will you actually arrive earlier if you own one than you would if you did not own one?

Will you actually arrive earlier if you own one than you would if you did not own one? I've experimented with this (even posted a thread on it) and I'd say the difference is negligible. I was at Solitude and FT'd to Riften with: a) Shadowmere, b) By hiring the carriage guy (and Shadowmere dead), and c) By myself with Shadowmere dead. In all cases, I arrived by myself maybe an hour or so later than usual. But the times kept changing, also. FT is weird in this game.
