BlueGunk Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Hi all (this post updated from original) My game has developed a weird 1st person POV glitch. The first signs of glitch started when the 1st person POV got stuck in the sitting position. Get up from seat, and character (still stuck in sitting position) would lurch about like Hunchback of Notre Dame. Using TFC to look at character from outside she has NO HEAD and NO LEGS! Still in the sitting position! 3rd-person POV is totally fine and fully controllable. I've tried weapons drawing, menus, all sorts of manouevres to free it with no luck. I have the usual pile of mods inlcuding HGEC and BBB, and DR6 with skeleton patch. I've recently added Elsweyr, Valenwood (including border patch) and all has been perfect for a long time (and yes - DR6 has been perfect). Then I loaded Hammerfell (Brendan62). Around there my problem started. So I rolled back Hammerfell. No luck. I've reloaded all my body and skeleton mods and patches including Deadly Reflex 6 and BOSSED until my eyes bleed. But I can't shift this sitting glitch. In case I had corrupt game save I loaded earlier ones - same problem. I've examined my folders and meshes, animations - can't see anything off. I'd be hugely grateful if anyone could point me in the direction to check. I'm pretty good with the mods, tools, etc. but I can't think where this has gone wrong! Thanks, Clive UPDATED - I *think* this is DR6 self-destructing. I cleaned it all out including 1st Person Legs and reinstalled - now good. But - if anyone can advise me if this is the most likely explanation, please let me know. I'd hate to have another issue I have not resolved!
