GoodfellowGoodspring
So modding the State House in Goodneighbor, the interior has loads of lighting, like too much. Every window has light spilling out, thats fine but then you have extra light some of which don't even do anything but whatever. Don't get me started on the inside of the building having more windows than the outside. So anyway, i move around some furniture in Hancock's part of the building. Problem is when im testing in game you still see the original positions of the objects and the stuff i added or moved around just disappears as you move close to it. Ive encountered this before in the 'Better Third Rail' mod, where a sofa will disappear at different angles. In a mod im making, a light and door i placed disappear when moving up close to them, then the entire lighting from ALL that interior area just turns off and doesn't appear in till you pass through that area again or load up an other interior! I understand that too much shadow lighting can cause problems, i had that problem and fixed it. I played around at deleting lightboxes thinking that they were causing the disappearing/dissolving objects problem but nope.
BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah
Precombine geometry will help with the phantom furniture.World>Precombine geometryVisibility>Generate Visibility (though, it's been a debate whether this one is necessary)Visibility>Generate Precombine VisibilityEdit: Also look into Roombounds and portal markers...though a pre-existing interior should already have them set up. GoodfellowGoodspring
Thanks cleared up the problem for me. Been modding for years, used both Creation Kits and the Oblivion Construction kit and never had this problem..
