Trey5511
bs, U end up with one sword Sure, if you don't re-equip your weapon? You said "go back to fight", I figured that means you, y'know, pull out your swords again? click once to get to menu then select menu then scroll down to see that text Active Effects - yeah very simple - (not like pressing one button possible?) Scrolling through a menu is complicated for you? Also, none of bethesda's games have had an "active effects" screen accessible through one button click. You can access it through four rapid button clicks though(tab a e e). Thats quite simple to me. edit:I forgot, morrowind did. it does that if you have equipped item and more in inventory - you are lucky if that hasn't happened to you I have quite astonishing luck it would seem, then. Yes you have and weirdly even called it "easy" Because a few button clicks isn't easy? Really it seems to come down to the fact that you think equipping weapons or scrolling through a short menu is challenging. A few tips? Don't waste your time unequipping your healing spells, just go and re-equip your weapon. Also, the active effects is always at the bottom of your magic menu. Just scroll to the bottom, no need to look for it. And if you close the menu and then re-open it again it saves your spot at the bottom of the menu, so you don't need to scroll again! How wonderful. marharth
Most people hate the UI for valid reasons. Just a few problems below. This does not even cover everything that is f***ed up with the UI.http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/5679/skyriminterface.jpg
Trey5511
Most people hate the UI for valid reasons. Something substantial, instead of silly reasons! Amazing. I never really found a lack of utilization of screenspace all that much of an issue, personally(morrowind was the last game/only modern game i've played that utilizes most of the space on the screen for menus), but eh. Better reason than complaining about re-equiping a weapon.
ScorpionHunter
Most of the peeps who hate it are probably using a 2 button standard mouse and basic keyboard. With my N52 TE gamepad I get 10 extra hotkey buttons just for my thumb. UI is great with the proper hardware setup. Only change in the UI that's needed is a buff timer bar to show on the main window, only thing I would change. Im using Steelseries keyboard and Naga Razer mouse 17 programmable buttons those help yes - but still they can't redesign the UI at screen - Should game makers add System Requirements info "Be sure to have programmable keyboard and mouse"? I don't think so

Trey5511
well I'm glad you finally realise that there's other people than you too Oh darn, I thought I was talking to the voices in my head on the forums! which are fact by the way bs, U end up with one sword Not fact. You're making a claims which you literally cannot back up(and are false). yeah very simple Not fact. It happens to be rather subjective, actually. (I'm aware of the sarcasm, it is the conveyed meaning that it isn't simple that I am saying is not fact.) it does that if you have equipped item and more in inventory - you are lucky if that hasn't happened to you Not fact. It not happening to me is evidence to the contrary for an absolute like this. Yes you have and weirdly even called it "easy" I still don't understand this question. stimresp
I can't adore the current UI. Whilst good-looking, it is surprisingly inelegant considering the in-game complexity. For a proper Skyrim experience I want to be able to use these various items for different situations, and I want to switch between them quickly. The hotkeys should have the ability to activate various weapon/magic/shout/amulet combos instead of the current one-handed implementation. After a while the favourites menu becomes even more tedious to scroll through. Little things, like the lack of scrolling loop, become irritating once you build-up a decent inventory of potions and spells. I don't know if this could be patched, but the re-mapped 360 controller mods for PC has made it slightly more bearable for now.

Trey5511
grow up Amusing. You say some things mistaken and resort to insults! Makes sense though, I've been insulting you the entire time. Did I touch a nerve? Its funny how people come and ask where the problem is even though there are articles/topics whole forums full of problems with the ui, written.Makes me wonder if they actually read anything about it. I spend most my (little) forums time on these forums, actually, and I have yet to see anything on these about it.
