Evilllamas
Hi When I got the game (on release) I made a stealthy character, who also does restoration magic, but focuses on archery and one handed...I was bored today, so made an ork- heavy armour, smithing, and 2 handed swords...I was amazed how easy combat was with the ork- I just wandered in, swung my sword, and everyone died, he's only level 4- but even now I'm one shoting most average enemys! I'v heard that stealth gets OP when sneak reaches 100- but so far, melee battles have been a trial for my stealth char, with lots of restoration spells needed (no points in light armour though, and that's what he wears)anyone else noticed this?Or am I playing the wrong way (duel wielding with stealth, getting sneak crits first... one shot guys like that)
Qwal
Whole point with stealth is what you said, sneak in on them dualwield is essential(so much dmg) and kill of 1 of them. THen dualwield power attack(hits like 4 times one one enemy if you are close enough. Dualwielding maces with my orc is sick, takes out bosses on master difficulty in 3-4 dualwield powerattacks. WarKirby3333
2-handed warriors are nice. The reach and power a big weapon gives you is awesome. once you have the leaping power attack, you're able to initiate a fight and kill someone straight off the bat. more or less the same way a rogue can, but without having to sneak. PsYchotic666Joker
YES OMG YES STEALTH IS! OVER POWERED!! LIKE A MOFO!!! i'm a level 40 stealth assassin, and i pretty much 1 hit everything and cannot be seen for the most part, and iv even tested it and ignored stealth, and just straight up killed things in combat and used the sneak perk shadow warrior, if you use it in combat...still 1 hit kills ><and did i mention i play on master 100% of the time? well i do......game is freaking easy after about 20-25, i have no perks in light armor, i had a few in one handed, removed them, a few in archery, sneak maxed out, smithing 100 and perks on right side ( only leveled it to raise my levels, and didn't exploit the iron daggers, i had ALL the things needed to level smithing myself legit LOL ) but i don't abuse it, hell i'm still wearing dark brother hood armor :) i should also mention iv not done crap for the main quest, went to High Hrothgar the first time, went off exploring, have yet to do any faction quests, a few minor side quests, iv mostly been exploring the world, if you press M and bring the map up, i have EVERYTHING on the middle and the WHOLE right side explored LOL Pretty much it's boring for me cause there IS no challenge -.- Edited November 23, 2011 by PsYchotic666Joker
Scorpio9
I have no problem with being overpowered and probably I wont be having those problems.Reason is quite simple, I want versatile character so all my skills don't grow so fast and that also reflects on perks.I'm really having fun playing some quests as stealthy assassin, others like savage wielding 2 handed weapons, and some like crazy wizard, and rest like combination of those mentioned. If it ever feels to me like I'm overpowered - I'll just increase difficulty. Evilllamas
Seem's I'm just a noob then!I'm going to use some console hacks to re-distrebute some perks on my assasin... take them all out of destruction and lockpick, buff light Armour, same goes for stats- take some out of magica, add to endurance...
