I use Achievements and Place Everywhere for F4SE. Seriously don't know how anyone plays without Place Everywhere btw?

My game's not affected since i have it set to not update....and for people that Steam is resetting the option to not update...

Steam>userdata>blahblahnumbers>config...delete it, restart steam, if needed set it again to not update till run and badamoom badabing! No more resetting.

I've even had to do that on a clean instal of Steam.

Which mods are folks using that requires F4SE that cannot be disabled until it is patched?

I have seen very few mods requiring the script extender so far.

There's a few of them, other than Place Everywhere and the one for Achievements I can't remember the others(I think I have at least 5), but the thing is, you don't even have to disable them since they just won't work without an update, keep them active it does nothing to your saves or active game, just continue playing. The only difference is you either start FO4 via Steam or NMM.

Now that F4SE has been updated it is having this message pop up every time I launcher with F4SE "Expected game version 1.6.9. Your version 1.7.10" It lets me launch but I'm not sure if this is going to cause any issues.

You haven't updated F4SE or still have the older .dll file for 1.6.9 in the folder as well.

Well they are going to keep patching the game until at least Nuka-Cola World come out and is stable for the most part. And even then you will probably see occasional updates to fix stuff. So you all just have to put with it. Or stop using F4SE for now. And why does Beth have to give the F4SE team a headsup about any updates being released? Just so you all won't be inconvenienced for a day or two? Please..... And yes I use F4SE and I currently can't play either but I can live with waiting a bit. Man it really does get tiring reading all of the complaining whenever an update is released. Yet people also continue to complain about bugs in the game that they keep saying they wish that Beth would fix. :wallbash: If you don't want to put up with what's going on then go back and play Skyrim or something...

Skyrim had the exact same problem.

True but the difference is that many of those who are complaining most likely are those who played Skyrim after it was mostly already updated and patched and with many mods available that made the game much more playable and stable. For those people this is a new and frustrating experience. But still it gets tiresome listening to the constant complaining.

Yeah I haven't thought it about that way. Skyrim 1.3 was a hugggge mess(I think it has a day 1 patch..). I think it was only after 1.6 that things started getting normalize.

Updated F4se available last night, seems to work but I can't be sure as the patch has borked one or more of my mods, so I get a CTD. Shame really, I'd just found out how to display the frame rate using Steam and I wanted to try it out.
