Wookie120
I am very new to modding and am running into a problem with the creation kit already. I use mod organizer to manage my mods. According to the video by Darkfox I need to use Timestamp to make sure the loiad order for my DLC's is right. So I followed his instructions to the letter. If I open the CK from Mod Organizer they are NOT in proper order. However if I open the CK from my desktop, they are in proper order. Another glitch, if Iopen CK from desktop I have none of the mods listed that I have downloaded through Mod Organizer from the Nexus site. If I open the CK through Mod Organizer the mods are listed in the CK. Can someone please help me? This is one of the friendliest forums around and I have been helped before and I appreciate it. IsharaMeradin
What you have experienced is not a glitch or bug but rather expected normal behavior. Mod Organizer makes available to the programs that are launched from it the virtual file system data folder. When you run the same tools outside of Mod Organizer, they will only see what is physically present in your Skyrim data folder. You need to create an executable entry for that Timestamp tool and run it from inside MO just like you would LOOT, Wrye Bash or the Creation Kit. However, save yourself a step and simply use LOOT. There is a re-date feature within LOOT that will re-date all of your plugins for you. Instructions to re-date with LOOT:Launch LOOTSort and apply if desiredClick the vertical three dots at the top rightOn the menu that appears select Redate PluginsFollow any instructions given.
