daventry
I went to Soverngaurde allone and Defeated Alduin, then i went back to the Real World and everyone acts like as if Nothing happend. The Blade Woman and Esbern wont accept me unless i kill Paarthlex in witch i dident, now he is gone. So wheres the Cheers and Celebrations and what the hell am i suppose to do now, i feel so Empty right now. Werent the Stormcloaks and the Empire suppose to join forces and help fight Dragons or Alduin. Edited November 24, 2011 by daventry
raatorotta
Yea, nobody respects the dragonborn. I joined Stromcloaks after killing Alduin and they ask me to do the test? What? I am the dovakhiin that just saved the world and you ask me to go kill nooby ice wrath to show what i'm capable of!?!?
daventry
Exactly, now im going to do this jagged Crown Quest, but come on was the MQ in the Twilight Zone or something. The Only People who are happy about me defeating Alduin is the Graybeards and Paarthanex, the Whole World goes on with their business. So where are the Dragons, did they all go away and Paarthanex. raatorotta
Dragons are still there, on their areas. So if you didn't get all shouts before killing Alduin, you can still get them.
Lachdonin
N--n-n-n-n-n-n-Nerevarine! Sorry... had to be said... I agree that there seems to be a general sense of apathy for, you know, saving the world, but at the same time i'm glad there aren't stammering idiots everywhere who just stare at you blankly or sing your praises when your piss in a corner. daventry
Ok i found an Elder Dragon and killed it, then the Journal tells me to go to Esbern, im there and he still insists i should Kill Paarthanex, is the Game broken now am i missing something here
Lachdonin
WHat there SHOULD be is a way to convince Par to dissapear and 'pretend' he's dead... I just can't bring myself to kill the guy who is responsible for all my cool shouts... And no, chances are you didn't miss anything. I suppose it may be possible to sue the console to mark the quest complete without actually killing Par, but thats a personal choice...
daventry
Exactly, its like im forced to kill him and then get kicked out by the Greybeards. What is the Location of Skuldafn Temple and how do i get to it after the MQ Can someone explain to me Alduin World Eater, he is just a Normal Dragon and then dies in a puff of smoke so to speak. So what exactly was the point of Dragon Born exactly, the World or Skyrim Never felt threatened at all. I was expecting an 80 Foot Alduin Dragon with All the Powers you possess. I mean come on, Godzilla was 10 times Bigger then this. Edited November 24, 2011 by daventry
raatorotta
Skuldafn is not on the map. It's a special location. Try calling Odahviing and ask him if you can talk him, i don't know does it work.
Lachdonin
Generally speaking, i find the 'boss' fights in TES games underwhelming. The exception, for me anyway, as Almelexia in Morrowind;Tribunal. Once the Construction set comes out, i will definately be looking at Alduin's profile and doing what i can to make him a little more... well, terrifying. I mean, he's supposed to be the first-born of Akatosh, one of the most powerful creatures every to exist on Tamriel, and a herald of the end of the world. I shouldn't be able to just stand there and beat him with a mallet untill he stops moving,
