Saprobic
Hi guys been lurking this site for ages between Morrowind, Oblivion, and now Skyrim but have yet to try any modding myself. What I would like to accomplish is to create a dungeon. Sadly I am compleatly lost at how to start. Can anyone point me to a how to on creating new areas in the game? I have been looking but to no avail.Anyway thanks in advance for any assistance. CheersSaprobic
Mansh00ter
You will need the Creation Set for that, which isn't out yet.
Werne
You'll have to wait for the CS since TESsnip can't do that.
somnyus
If you look up 'my first dungeon' on Oblivion's construction set wiki, it will give you a general idea of the workflow. I'm sure the new creation kit will be very similar.
Saprobic
Thanks for the replies. Guess I'll have to have more fun playing before I start modin. Cheers.
GAOBR
I was going to try my hands Fallout 3... but Skyrim is a whole new game, so I'm waiting for the CK and to learn modding.
Aikospacerogue
Nonono don't wait. Do some basic stuff in the GECK (F3 CS) while 'waiting' ,you can only gain from it really. Okay so the dungeons look different, but the core is all the same. Building the cells, cluttering, populating , making an NPC, chekking things out ... Morrowinds CS looked like Oblivions, Oblivions looked like F3 and F3 looked like , well NV , Skyrims will look like F3's. Go check it out ! I myself have been busy with importing custom armor in F3 for the sole purpose of practice and learning for Skyrim, it helped me with massive leaps understand what I should look out for with Skyrim, and what errors I might bump into. GAOBR
Thanks. I have found some tutorials, but I most of them are for not totally beginners, so my current skills are: customizing weapons and armors :/
