hoaas93
Didn't really know where I could post this, but here goes. I've been a vivid collector of books and tomes in Skyrim, and I love the fact that you can Activate Bookshelves to line them up, very fancy. The thing is, I seem to have so many books, I cannot place them all in bookshelves around my house (in Windhelm), and I'd really like to have all the books in the same house, for realism and the awesomeness in having a lot of books, makes you look smarter, right? So I was really hoping some modder could attempt to put some more bookshelves into some of the houses, especially the Windhelm and Solitude ones... plaques and mannequins wouldn't be too bad either, but just bookshelves will sate me, for now. Not sure if the Creator Kit is needed, but I'm willing to wait if that's what it takes. Sincerely,Master of Ancient and Dusty Tomes
kibblesticks
Yeah I'd really like this too! You can bet the second the construction kit comes out there will be dozens of house mods with mile long libraries included. We'll just have to be patient and stack our books by hand until then I guess.
Draco856
To get it to orient properly, we'd need the CK, but it's possible, just really difficult to get it done with TES Snip...When is the CK coming out anyway? It's been 2 weeks...and I really want to mod!
antonkr
It will be rather simple to make actually. So unless someone makes it within a week I think I could probably easily do it.
shittakaburi
You don't need CK to orient properly. You can orient in TESSnip.
Shawkab
So... 6 Collision borders, 2 activate triggers, 1 Static shelf, 1 bookshelf container, 1 bookshelf trigger, 32 default bookshelf markers = 1 working bookshelf. Goodluck, don't forget to align those 32 bookshelf markers perfectly or else you will get collision issues etc.. It just goes to show how hard this would be when you see that even bethesda with the CK had invisible borderline issues on any bookshelf that has more then two shelves. Everything just floats on the 3rd shelf because their collision border is to high. Even after all this, all you will receive is a bunch of people crying about how their books went flying and how the mod needs fixing before they will touch it. wirkoenntenaber
Don't want to be picky, but there's a mod suggestion thread. :hurr:
