Ashbean
As tirick said, the uesp has all the book's contents, and it's not affiliated with bethesda in any way, so I can't see any problem with making them available for kindle, as long as you don't claim ownership or sell it.and THANKS for doing this, I've always been impressed by the sheer amount of lore written for these games, and never got around to reading most of the books, so maybe now i'll get a chance to.nice work
ecirbaf
HI TravistyOJ. Any update on including the images? Did you try? The images are easily extracted with FOMM or other BSA explorer. An archive of the images was also posted by someone on your blog comments. I'm trying to convert the DLSTRINGS without success so far.
ecirbaf
Anyone knows how one can filter the books out of the DLSTRINGS file? I can get to the text, but there are not only books in there. I wonder what criteria can be used to identify only those strings that are actual, and functional in game books (I say functional because there is also a test/debug book in there). The pictures are very easy to include as they are only img tags. And I'm sure Bethesda would not object to including them, with proper copyright notice. phaota
Thanks for doing this. I haven't dug into reading through any of the books while in the game, but since I have a Kindle Fire, I'll read them later at leisure.
phaota
Missing some books. Any chance that you could update the file with these? * Night of Tears* Chimarvamidium: Ancient Tales of the Dwemer Pt. VI* Mixed Unit Tactics in the Five Years War Vol.1* Velehk Sain - Pirate King of the Abecean* A Minor Maze: Shalidor and Labyrinthian Also, how about adding in the various journals from NPC characters, like the four parts of Arondil's books? There a many others as well. Kodlak's journal is quite interesting. You would have to change the player's name in it to Dragonborn though.
