Khtugg
Hi all, I'm using a mod called Beast Master that allows "companionising" creatures and animals and I like to adventure with an apex crab! I think the mod builds on Wasteland Workshop because sometimes, like that DLC, when returning to a settlement my mirelurk is rerolled and there is a chance that it will spawn with netting on(or sometimes as an entirely different kind of mirelurk!). I was never too keen on the mirelurk net and Beast Master allows painting of certain creatures, Indian temple elephant style, but the paint is applied on top of the net AND the mirelurk instead of just the mirelurk. If the paint was under the net I could just imagine the lurk was entangled for a bit while swimming in Lake Sanctuary. Do any of you know if there is a way to disable/hide/remove the netting? The net is it's own NIF, by the way. Thanks for reading.
Khtugg
I still require help with this. Also, I'd like to remove the seaweed meshes on the mirelurks entirely from my game as well.
EmissaryOfWind
Just replacing fishingnet01.nif with a blank nif should do the trick, same thing with the seaweed
Khtugg
Just replacing fishingnet01.nif with a blank nif should do the trick, same thing with the seaweed You've come to my rescue yet again, EmissaryOfWind! I used outfit studio to generate that blank nif, copied and renamed it to the different nifs in the mirelurk accesory folder. It worked quite nicely. I use the Colourful Mirelurks retexture mod and the seaweed in particular blocks the 'lurks carapaces. The net and seaweed are decorative and are a nice concept but they must go for me due to the "problem" stated in opening post. Besides, now I can have a killclaw mirelurk with war paint! :D

genolune
I'm intrigued. How did you do that in Outfit Studio?
EmissaryOfWind
I assume just by opening outfit studio and exporting as nif without importing anything.
