Matrimelee
Never played New Vegas before, respectively bought this game today due to Steam sales. So, question is, what are the must-get plugins (or tools) for this game to greatly improve the gaming experience? Morrowind had MGEXOblivion had FCOMFallout 3 had FOOK2 what has New Vegas to offer? Alters a lot of things in the game to make the game more realistic and balanced.. Also makes all CASE projectiles visable, at either real speed, or 1/4 'Bullet time' speed where you can easily see the bullets. And for some mods that are not mine.. Heh.http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37002 Classic fallout weapons, adds 60+ weapons from previous fallout games to new vegas. (Case has a patch for this mod) http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37342 Shrapnel, adds 150+ weapons to the game. (Case also has a patch for this mod to use CASE instead of caliber) http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38623 Increased wasteland spawn, adds WAY more spawns to the wasteland.. Really needed unless you like walking for ages without seeing anything.
Matrimelee
Interesting, will look into that. Also, what about Project Nevade? Is it a good overhaul and is it compatible with your mod? Edited November 25, 2011 by Matrimelee
ModelV
Rules of gaming: Rule 1: ALWAYS PLAY VANILLA FIRST!!! Its a really bad idea to add mods when you have not played the game as the things that get changed might be things you would like normally plus it blurrs the line between whats a mod and whats the game which massively reduces the quality of your gaming experience. Fallout: New Vegas isnt like F3. things like FOOK and FWE are much less popular because the game just doesnt need near as many changes. Vanilla NV has a lot better gameplay then vanilla F3. Personally i think its also better then modded Fallout 3. Edited November 25, 2011 by ModelV
Cyberlazy
Nevada should be compatible with my mods, just not the equipment module (Yet... Will release a patch someday!)
