taryl80
Hi I had actual some problems with my first f4 mod. I try to build a new world and a follower and I run in the following problems: 1) How can i make an end on a worldmap? As example in vanilla f4 you often run into some "invisible walls", when you reach the map end. Actual I need the same for my new worldspace. 2) Some "mysterios" things happen on 1 of my interior levels. - I have put Ghoulenemys in a Subwayinterior, but in a testrun, i have not see them. (I have use the encghoul... npcs in the ck).- 2 of my interior objects did not appear where i have put them. In the ck, they are ok, but ingame they are a whole way to the left of the original place from them. and finaly ... How can I make a ->standalone<- follower for f4? I have seen and read tutorials for normal followers, but i will no one force to download "the complete nexus:)" bevor he can download my follower, so ... is a tutorial for standalone followers out there in the internet? chucksteel
the "Invisible walls" your looking for are called "Collision Plains" you'll find a button for them in the tool bar at the top of the Ckit. Have you navemeshed your interior? Have you tested with a clean save? Probably would need more information on this, post a screen. No clue it's just now what I make but there should be tutorials out on the interwebs, thought you may need to look at skyrim ones.
taryl80
Thx for your answer. No, I haven´t navemeshed my maps yet, because I am still in the "clutter phase". I still need to work a little bit on my maps, but then I will do a testrun again and post the screens here.
chucksteel
NPC's and creatures will not move with out navemesh so that is your problem.
radiumskull
NPC's and creatures will not move with out navemesh so that is your problem. NPCs/creatures need to be inside a navmesh to start moving, but once they get going I think they can move outside it. I've got a test cell where ghouls will attack me while I stand outside the navmesh limits. So it's true navmesh enables movement, but I'm not sure that is acts as a fence. taryl80
I have now the most problems dissolved. The collision plains stay, 70%+ of everything is navmashed and the ghouls have not anymore these strange errors. The 1 named obj. error I haven´t tested yet because, I have work on other parts. And that means I do actual some pre work on special clothes for that mod. Aaand ...To make new clothes for f4 is also new for me. Yesterday I have make my first new clothing - a new vault suite (just changed the number on the suitback to the number of my vault in mod). But by my secound planned clothing, I had run into problems. The secound clothing would be a changed prisoner rag and this clothing comes with some transparent parts. In my first ingame test, some parts of the transparent parts are black (some areas on the legs). Are they black because I have make something wrong with the .dds, or is it maybe, because i have actual just made the clothes for the f4 vanilla body and not the cbbe body I use? (if you ask yourself why I have not directly made cbbe clothes, then I just can say again, that I am a beginner on this and I have planned to do changes like this short for release ->for now I am happy when everything works like I want).
