NCRForever
I have tried everything. I even reinstalled FO4. Running the game just from the launcher. No go. Tried running just using F4SE. No go. Tried running from NMM. No go. Disabled Steam overlay. No go. Reinstalled again to a different location. No go. Deleted everything in Documents\My Games\Fallout4. No go. Deleted everything in AppData\Local\Fallout4. No go. Deleted FO4Launcher.exe and FO4.exe. No go.Re-verified the game so many times now, that I am sure Valve thinks I'm an idiot. All other games are fine. Any ideas that I have tried? NCRForever
Let me clarify something. I had no mods installed at all. Running purely vanilla. In order for me to finally start a new game, I had to uncheck all of the DLCs. That to me sounds stupid. But, I was thinking and just decided to try it. Now, I can start a new game. Just can't have have my DLCs loading up.
bill8872
I had the same issue with no mods enabled, only the DLCs, but as soon as I re-enabled them I could start fine. Edited August 8, 2016 by bill8872
SirTwist
Go to where you have Fallout 4 installed, right click on Fallout4.exe, then go to Properties. Once there, click on Compatibility. You will want to look at the bottom, and check Run as administrator. Click apply, then ok. You will want to do this for F4SE, and the launcher. Then, outside of NMM, or anything else, run the launcher, then click options. This will start you on the process of getting into the game. Then when the graphics are set up, then click play. You should be good to go, from here.

Just disabled all the DLCs and it worked. f4se says it's out of date. So, not good to go.Yeah, I was playing earlier and it was fine. Now, f4se is out of date. Just waiting for the new version to hit.
