Mod to make NPCs use custom hair, custom clothes etc.

Hi,

I've been searching for a mod that makes various NPCs utilize common mods like Ren's Hair, and perhaps even clothes mods.

There are a lot of good mods out there that gives you the ability of customizing your own character with special eyes, hair etc. but the only mod that makes them useable on NPCs is in the same process also making NPCs walk around in latex strings and underwear worth silly much - which isn't what I would want. (for those interested: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11377 )

So - is there a mod that isn't game-breaking (even when using mods like OOO), retains the immersion feeling, and allows some NPCs to use custom hair and clothes/armour as well?

Just can't believe noone has decided to just let certain NPCs utilize common hair mods for instance...

To give NPCs custom hair/eye/items, you have to use those MODs(custom cosmetic/race MODs & custom item MODs) as master(or, you can merge them to your custom NPC plugin, but if it is for release, well..). Then, edit every NPCs data to give them custom ones.

If im not mistaken, that once again just lets you modify your own character.

I want the NPCs that you meet during your travels to utilize custom eyes, hair, clothes etc. to create a much bigger diversity in the game. Preferably done properly so that you don't see NPCs running around imperial city in bikinis... :)

Hair and clothes would be easy(merge them, giving each races new hair, giving each NPCs new hair/clothes), but for eyes, they can be troublesome. Many eye addons use vanilla eye mesh, while many other people uses Ren's Beauty Pack, Eleborate Eyes, Beautiful People. You see, Ren's Beauty Pack and Eleborate Eyes use different eye meshes(BP uses EE eye mesh). So, if someone try to use vanilla eyes addon for Ren's or EE without converting textures for different eye meshes, he/she will see 'goggly' eyes for additional eye colors(and vice versa) This applies not only player character, but also NPCs.

Anyway, this screenshot shows how to give NPC custom hair/eyes. You can do same to stock NPCs.
