vyebrows
Couriers stash is infact 4 .esm files, one for each pack. In mod manager i disabled them and yet when i play the game i get the gear (this is loading a save where i had not installed couriers stash). Surely unchecking a .esm means not loading that file, it sure has in the past! i put the wmx .esp files in my list so i can check and they must pick it up because the game doesn't crash. This is weird.
ModelV
Yea disabling the master of a file doesnt cause crashes it causes the game to reactivate the file. I had this same issue awhile back. Just check what requires courier's stash files and disable those too. Or just run Courier's stash as it doesnt have any conflicts or real issues. Also it could be the game auto recognizing the file since its DLC and always turning it back on in that case your screwed.
Fonger
the nice "feature" of any DLC is that it is FORCED to load there may actually be mods to 86 these things, but you paid for it - and Bethesda/Obsidian/Steam insists that you play with it. ModelV
^pretty much what I do for half the armor and weapons. Classic and Tribal really rip you off compared to Caravan and Merc :(
FaejaVu
Yeah, those annoyed me too, so I just deleted the files altogether and that solved my issue.
roguim
It's the Nam files that came with the download remove them and you can disable the esm without worry. Note that Nam also force the activation of the files in G.E.C.K, but at least there you can uncheck it to avoid unnecessary masters....
