Draconzis
I am currently building my first dungeon, more as a test dungeon for practice than anything else, but I cannot for the life of me find the Nordic secret door. I have made a secret passage, but what is the point if there is no door to hide it? Oddly enough, I have been able to find ones for caves and mines, but not for nordic ruins. cumbrianlad
What you need to do is firstly to end the passage with a secret doorway. You'll find these exits are NorSecRmSmWallFrontExSm01 and NorSecRmSmWallSideExSm01. These can be swapped into the small room that you want to enter the secret passage from. The door is hard to find even using filters and all in the object window. You need NorSecRmSmDoorSm01. It's the stony looking one in the preview window. Don't be tempted to use the alternative 02 secret door because I think it needs more work because the animation has the door disintegrating. Put your door in place and link to a pair of pull chains or pull levers in the normal way. To do this, if you aren't familiar with it, select the door, right click and edit, choose the activate parents tab, double click in the empty box and choose select from render window. you'll get a red crosshair that turns white when your cursor is over the pull chain. Double click to select it and okay the two boxes. Repeat the procedure for the second pull chain on the other side of the door. You should now see both pull chain references in the activate parents tab for the door. You should also see a blue-white line linking each pull chain to the door's insertion point. Job done!
