Peregrine
Who defined right and wrong in the beginning? there had to be some sort of foundatian of moral. This is where the divine conversations would start 1) Divine creation is not necessary for the existence of right and wrong. It is possible for those concepts to come as just commonly accepted agreements between civilized people, such as "do not murder" because it harms society as a whole. 2) The principle of separation of church and state requires that even if there are divinely-created morals they have no place in government. Bringing them up here is irrelevant.

Listen (read) to yourself, you contradict what you say. YOUR opinion has no relevancy.

Listen (read) to yourself, you contradict what you say. YOUR opinion has no relevancy. Apparently you need some history lesson. The idea of muder being wrong was around long before that commandment was written. As well as being present in pretty much ever civilization, including ones that had absolutely no contact with christianity or its laws. At best, the bible reinforced something that was already accepted as law. And it's not just my opinion. I would suggest some research into the development of human civilization before you claim that christianity has a monopoly on morals. And some research into the founding principles of our country, which are very clear on the idea of separation of church and state, would benefit you as well.
