JuzoXX
I recently read the news on the site update coming to the Nexus and it looks fantastic! Can't wait to try it out! With that being said, I was wondering if things going on behind the scenes had anything to do with the performing sub-par as of late? I can only speak in regards to browsing the "Skyrim and Fallout 4" sections of the Nexus though, so I haven't the slightest idea as to how the site performs on it's other pages. Slow loading times while browsing the Skyrim Nexus and it's pages in general are what brought me to start this topic in hopes of getting some help on the matter. I wouldn't even bother posting at all if I was experiencing these problems anywhere else on the web, so I doubt it's my actual connection, but I won't rule it out. Browser: ChromeISP: Time Warner Cable SpeedTest: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5545277535 My download speed was just under 300mbps, which is the speed I should be getting via the service package I have with TWC. I'm not sure if my download speeds have anything to do with simple browsing of the site though? Let me make it clear that this post has nothing to do with the speeds of my actual downloads from the Nexus, but of the long loading times I experience when browsing it's pages in general. Anything from clicking on links to a files bugs section, posts sections, images, description, etc. Just from starting on my google.com homepage and then from there clicking on my Skyrim Nexus bookmark to get to the Nexus is really slow. Once I'm here and let's say I click on one of the "hot files" getting to that page is slow, even if it's not in the "hot files" section and it happens to be a link under the "recent files" section, it's slow. I have a habit of clearing my browsing history and download history from chrome before I close the browser, almost every time I open it up and browse. I'm also using a week old fresh install of the browser, as well as a new PC, this problem has been going on prior to that though, so I don't think it has anything to do with my new PC. Are there any other steps I can take on my end to help? Perhaps doing a complete clearing of my browsing history and etc. via the Chrome settings? Is there any way that I can clear my download history that's listed in my nexus profile to see if that helps? Is there any way to reset my tracking history on my nexus profile to see if that helps? For the above two questions I ask only because I have 10+ pages of download history and even more pages of files that I am tracking. I couldn't find a way to clear my tracking history other than going to each and every one of those pages one by one and ticking the untrack option. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. Sonja
I've been experiencing the same thing, and I'm on the Canadian west coast. Every other site works fine, and I've also tried various browsers, but they all load pages *very* slowly on Nexus Mods. If I clear my cache, it helps a bit, but not significantly. I suspect it has something to do with the work they're doing...
Pallor
I am having the same problem. Last night, around 9 PM Pacific Time, I decided to do some tweaks to a new FONV game.I could not go directly to the NV Nexus site from a bookmark.I had to google the site, and go to the categories link. Once there I could go to the main page. Everything is still running slow, and a lot of pictures won't load. The forums don't seem to be having any issues though. I forgot to add that the problem is the same on Chrome and IE Edited August 11, 2016 by Pallor

JuzoXX
I went ahead and cleaned Chrome to see if it would help, sadly it didn't. The first time I accessed the site after cleaning Chrome the Skyrim Nexus homepage loaded up almost immediately, but the problem persisted as soon as I tried to start browsing the site, literally the first link I clicked was slow to load. I've done a lot of heavy browsing today searching for solutions as to why and how webpages would be acting this way and sadly this site was the only one running slow. I'm really confused as to why one website in particular would be running this way, while all the other sites I browse don't? It hasn't always been like this though, just progressively worse over the past week or so.
JuzoXX
After deleting all the tracked mods from my profile the site is running remarkably faster! I don't know if the amount of files I was tracking actually had anything to do with it, but considering I had tried all the other standard fixes for web page load times/browser responsiveness, etc, I assume they were making browsing the site sluggish for me. I don't know if this would work for everyone, nor do I know if this fix is an actual "fix". Who knows, maybe in a few minutes/hours things will be back to running slow, maybe they won't? I had 18 full pages of tracked files, almost 19. Luckily I pretty much know all the mods I need to track by memory and moving forward I'll try to keep my tracked files list at a minimum. I just wish there was a way to clear my download history on the Nexus to see if that would help also? Sadly there's no option to do so.
