Starch
He did what he had to in order to keep man alive. Hammerfell would disagree with that last assessment. As a technicality, the Redguard aren't men... Their a differance race altogether... That actually kinda racist in RL, since the Redguard look like Blacks. J_R
LONG LIVE THE GREY-MANES! My aforementioned Imperial-siding Dunmer character is actually married to a Grey-Mane, funny enough (sorry dear). Hard to imagine a Dunmer helping Ulfric... especially after investigating what's really going on beneath the surface politics. My character still does conduct weekly raids on the Thalmor embassy though..
elvinkun
This might be a bit off, but, I saw many mention Ulfric is bad because he acts like a selfish kid on the peace council... Does the dialogue change much depending on whether you already participated in rebellion, on which side, which stage or not participated at all? In my case, it was Talius who seemed a bit rushing, since he asked first and for so many things too. Either way, I wonder why they just couldn't agree to have a peace for three days without exchanging half of the cities and Jarls
xlr8films
There are only three types of races Man, Mer, and Beastfolk. Did you mean playable? Bc Akavir is separate, also. The Dragons are considered Akavir (which... wouldn't that make the Dragonborn part Akavir if he/she has dragon blood in them..? Hmm...) and so are the Tang Mo. Sorry about being off-topic, I just happened to notice this and it triggered my fingers.

Sorry about being off-topic, I just happened to notice this and it triggered my fingers.Dragonborn is described as1) ...Blessed by Akatosh2) ...Person with body of a mortal and a soul of a dragon In both cases it has nothing to do with blood (in the literal sense) or genes, so I wouldn't say it makes the dragonborn part-anything, apart from what he or she was born like. From what I've seen and how I understand... Having a dragonborn in the family doesn't mean parents were or kids will be dragonborn, it's just a deviation for Septims who got blesed as a lineage rather than a person :D Edited December 2, 2011 by elvinkun

As a technicality, the Redguard aren't men... Their a differance race altogether... That actually kinda racist in RL, since the Redguard look like Blacks. Absolute rubbish. Regardless of what they LOOK like, the Redguard are decended from an entirely different stock than other men. They are only classified as Men because of interbreeding over the last 4000 years, but the Crowns are still considered something else. In truth, the average Redguard is a hybrid race. Also, Blacks are not a race at all. At least, not biologically. No human ppulation has sufficient genetic varriance to be considered a seperate race. As such, the entire concept of race is totally cultural, and has no basis in quantifiable fact.
chingola777
So far I think the Stormcloaks are a bit nicer, anyway it was the ********* Imperials who were trying to cut off your head at the start, and with everything else I just support the Stormcloak, at somepoint in the next year I'm sure I will start a new game and go the other way just to see how that plays out. To really get the Sotrmcloaks to win I think you should play the assassins quest line, or the one quest should be available to play when your playing the Stormcloaks. The difference between Redguards and Nords is where they originally came from, with Redguards being descended from the humans of the continent Yokuda (when they used to be "Yokudans") while the Nords are descended from the humans of the continent Atmora. In fact, northern Hammerfell never integrated properly with the Empire, continuing to be "more traditionally Yokudan, in style, dress, and personality." Matth85
Sotrmcloaks to win And then the Thalmor comes and take over Skyrim. Politics is fun, 'ey? Am I the only one who didn't join the Stormcloak just because of the start? I did some snooking, and found out the racisme before I joined 'em. At least the Empire got a chance to take down the Thalmor.
CemeteryN7
Tullius has been the better of the two, he even apologizes about the whole execution deal (if you join the Empire). Redguards are based off of the Arabians. I've also noticed a pattern here. The ones that seem to side with the Stormcloaks are those that are new players to the TES series and/or started playing it from Oblivion or they just say that it's the Empire that took their god from them and the Empire tried killing you at the start or they're fighting for their independence. If you don't know much about TES lore, please don't try and argue. Here's a quick summary of the Empire for those that have no to little understanding of TES.-The Empire is not like the evil Empire of Star Wars (which they weren't too bad either) or the Roman Empire when it started getting bad.-The Empire originated out of the province of Skyrim.-The Empire has had their darker moments and have a few members who are total jerks (but that's bound to happen to anyone).-The Empire is overall trying to better the world and are just flat out a good faction.-Most of the Provinces were under the control of the Empire because they didn't mind, before the Thalmor attacked.-Their main goal is to unite all of Tamriel.
